System Shock Remake is 50% off on Indiegala and on Humble, which is a bigger discount than I've seen before.
I guess it'll keep dropping in price though, as games do.

The Outer Worlds is 50 % off on gog right now, so it's cheaper than on Steam.

PSA: it was given away on Epic a while back, so you might already have it. PS/ Unfortunately they haven't given away The Outer Wilds yet...

Most of the other colours are £40. If I hadn't just bought the remix controller I'd be on this.

So apparently the next Humble Monthly will contain:
Returnal Assassin's Creed Valhalla Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood Champion of Gaia Edition Noita Fashion Police Squad BLACKTAIL Paquerette Down the Bunburrows Spirittea
For 10 euro, it seems like it should be worth it just for Returnal, which has never been lower than 30 euro anywhere, it seems. And getting AC Valhalla too is just icing on the cake.
Now the question is whether I really want a roguelike.

Paquerette Down the Bunburrows is the best name for a game since Fashion Police Squad.
/fires up Steam

Looking at Steam reviews, it seems the rest of the bundled games are pretty good too. I might actually resume my membership... for one month. I can do that, right? It seems I can cancel at anytime.
Edit: also they say one of the big titles might change at the last minute, so that would be a bummer.

I’ve been browsing the Nintendo spring sale- gosh the e-shop is shite isn’t it? There’s a “14-in-1” family games pack reduced from 40 quid to 89p so I figured I’d at least see what games it comes with. Nope, the description is generic AI filler without even listing the games, and the video is just for one single game without even mentioning the other 13. I’ve seen some dross on the Xbox store but it’s usually hidden away, not featured in a sale.
Anyway Moonlighter is a great game and it’s down to a couple of quid, Inscryption is half price and I’m tempted because I never played it, and there’s even some decent discounts on first party games.

Yeah, eShop and PSN store are bad at showing all the shovelware in their sales page. Xbox is better at filtering that stuff out.

Wild Hearts is only a tenner from Amazon at the moment, on both PS5 and XSX.

The only title they actually got right was Fashion Police Squad, everything else is different.

Especially if they sound too good. I'll admit to be somewhat curious about Callisto Protocol, since I just finished the Dead Space remake, but what I've heard and read didn't fill me with confidence about it.

Eh. Could've sworn I got an email about the bundle from Humble. Maybe I saw the fake thing by accident somewhere. Getting old.

Fanatical currently has one of those 1 euro pick your games bundles with Oddworld Soulstorm among the picks. That's a top price. www.fanatical.com/en/pick-and-mix/build-your-own-wonder-bundleGuess I'll be catching up then. Exoddus is still today one of my favorite platformers, so it has a lot to live up to. Might replay New and Tasty first, though. I did play it almost ten years ago, when it was free on PS Plus, but it's been too long. They have since given it away on the Epic store, so it's not like I'll have to pay anything for it.

I noticed a '£5 off £15' promotional banner on the front page of Amazon when I signed in this afternoon - worth checking to see whether you've got one too. (This was via a web browser, not the app.)

Be aware that The Hong Kong Massacre is really, really fucking hard. I bought it in a previous sale after seeing how it inspired that scene in JW4 and I'm glad I got it cheap! I just wish I wasn't rubbish at it as it's certainly a good game if you can play it well, a skill issue on my part rather than the game's fault.
