Amid Evil is down to 4,24 € on Steam. It's a Daily Deal, but the offer only ends on 26th April supposedly...
It's some kind of Hexen-esque FPS.

Ended up getting Nier Automata on Steam as it seemed a reasonable price at 14.99
Somehow I still think of it like a "new" game even though it's 6 years old already. No wonder I don't give a shit about most new releases.
Also bought Final Fantasy 8 remaster on switch, currently 7.99. I will replay it eventually, but mainly I like that I now have FF 1-10 on my Switch.

Amazon UK are running a promotion that'll give you £5.00 off a purchase of £15.00 (or more) made via the Amazon app - figured some of you lovely lot might find it useful.

This is more for me than anyone else.
Anyone have Katana Kami, by any chance? Preferably for Switch or PS4/5. It’s on sale on both estores at the moment, and trying to decide which version to get. If you have it on PS4, did it have any Pro enhancements, by any chance? The very little footage there is on YT suggest the PS4 version has better textures, but I’m not sure if it has 4K support, or if either version runs at 60fps. It you have it on Switch, how’s the framerate?

The Thrustmaster items weren't as exciting as I was hoping.

Every year I spend 20 minutes looking around amazon on Prime Day, find no decent deals and 10000s of crap deals obscuring everything and then give up. I assume this is what we're supposed to do?

The easiest way to do it is just to build a wishlist of things you actually want and then you can just check that. Either that or let the people on HotUKdeals do the work for you.
A lot of the best offers have gone already though.

Great time to buy an SSD for a PS5 at least, the 1TB WD_Black 850 I bought for 170 quid just under two years ago is £75 on Amazon.
Almost tempted by a 2TB but rumour has it that SSD prices haven't hit their bottom yet so hopefully the 4TB ones will drop below 200 notes soonish.

There seems to be a fair bit of smoke and mirrors where 'Prime Day discounts' are concerned.
Take the PS5 games advertised as being part of today's money-off bonanza - both RE4 and Dead Space are ostensibly included, with significant discounts compared to their RRPs, but neither has actually been for sale at full price for months.
RE4 is pretty much the exact same price it was at the start of the week, while the actual discount on Dead Space is around a fiver (nice, but not nearly as dramatic a saving as Amazon are making out).
(Not that this is news to anyone, I'm sure.)

Yeah, I have about 100 things on my wishlist, and almost none have deals, and those that do aren't much better than the regular deals that come up once a month. I have a question on Prime Video. Apparently there are a bunch of videos To Buy for 3.99ish, but the prices showing up for me are higher. I wonder if that's because I don't currently have an active Prime membership. (seems dumb, as you'd think they'd want to encourage people to sign up by showing them the lower prices they could get). If you're a prime member, does this show up as 3.99 to buy? www.amazon.co.uk/Terminator-Judgement-Day-Digitally-Remastered/dp/B077TYHR8L

£3.99 for me, I am a Prime member.
This is what you get as a member.

Thanks. Weird that there doesn't seem to be any way to see the promotional prices for videos if you're not a member.
Now I have to think if it's worth signing up for a month just to buy a few cheap videos locked to amazon. On the other hand I tend to rent them and that costs 3.49 anyway.

Probably because people would complain if it was the other way. See the Prime sale price, add to cart, get charged full price, make a complaint ticket and a rant on twitter.

But all the physical goods have a big red Prime members sale price and then an option to pay more for non members.
