Another name has said it is Days Gone, while I'm a big fan of the game (it was my 2019 GOTY) it runs fine with the 60FPS patch that's already out so unless they do something amazing with it I can't see the point. Making the hordes even more massive and varied would be nice but not so nice to bother a re-release. Going from checker board 4K to native would also be pretty pointless. We could have had a sequel by now* but Bend didn't want to do it and yet we've seen nothing of what they've been doing for five years. *Spoiler for how it ends there was plenty of questions raised if you did the true ending of the game with the Finding NERO surprise. |

I thought a sequel was rejected by Sony because the OG didn't sell enough and that it was suggested that they do an new Uncharted game but Bend rejected that offer?

Sony wanted it Bend didn't, given the antics of the game's director after he left I imagine they just want to draw a line under the whole thing. I think the last time any sales figures came up it was over 9 million and that was a couple of years ago.

It never even got a PS4 Pro patch, as Evolution was long dead by then, which is a shame as Illusion's mods showed it can easily run faster than the 30 limit that DriveClub had when it launched. Wish Sony would do official support for this sort of thing.

God, Drive club was a brilliant looking game. It still does today tbh. Remember being absolutely blown away by the rain effects at the time and it still holds up. Sony/Evolution really dropped the ball with that game. It was absolutely fucked at launch. And yes, it's ridiculous that we can't play it at 60fps with a resolution lift. Or play it on PS5 at all for that matter. Almost unbelievable. Xbox, for all of their missteps, have done amazing work bringing their older games forward; with the resolution scaling, compatibility layers, cloud saves, auto-HDR and fps boost. Usually all as free patches too. |

I absolutely love Drive club, closest a game has come to Project Gotham Racing. The in game challenges and all. Tempted to clear the save and start all over again now.

I liked Days Gone but the only thing that would make a remake worthwhile would be if they made it extra woke and changed the key cutscenes into a gay biker romance story.

If you have the DLC in your PSN account that should also work (although some have said that it has also been removed). You can also play Driveclub if you own the digital version. Edit: Just checked. Digital version is still in my game library to download to PS5. But can’t find the DLC anywhere in my account. Edit2: But hang on, memory banks have just flashed into life. There were two versions of Driveclub! The digital version that everyone got and the disc version. The DLC for the digital wasn’t compatible with the physical version and vice versa. So I probably bought the DLC for the physical version, hence why the DLC isn’t showing for the digital version. I may have to install it to prove a point |

I really enjoyed Days Gone, but I've got the PS5 upgrade and I played it once, said "I'll come back to this" and haven't.

I feel like I could say the exact same thing about Days Gone, that I said about HZD today. Deek was so devoid of any personality, that again I couldn’t finish the story. I just made one up in my head. He died. The end.

If they are going to throw out a remake I'll happily take an Infamous 1+2+FOB collection, since Second Son and First Light are playable on PS5 anyway.

What’s Naughty Dog’s current main project? It’s been 4 years since TLoU Part 2, presumably their main team hasn’t been doing the remasters but I can’t recall anything about their first PS5 game which seems way too long.
