Quarry is excellent if you like that style of game, right up there with Until Dawn. I "knew" this would come to ps or xbox, so happy I didn't buy it even when it was only about ยฃ12

That's a great selection. Glad I hadn't gotten around to getting the new Horizon and also almost picked up The Quarry over Christmas.
I can heartily recommend The Forgotten City. Excellent little investigation game with some cool time looping.

Outriders is a good game pass game. Itโs a decent, B-tier effort and I had fun with it.

I liked it too, it has the best power fantasy in a looter shooter. It got a lot of shit for not having enough content but the Devs said they weren't making a live service game.
The dlc was outrageously priced though
Oh and it was really broken at launch.

It was very broken on launch, for sure, and they kept releasing those classic half arsed balance patches that broke something else. But itโs fun enough for gears with psychic powers.

Yeah, I enjoyed my time with it... Keep meaning to come back as it sounds like a lot of work went into it after I dropped off.
Got a bit pissed off with them constantly nerfing stuff instead of bringing the weaker classes up to the same level.

Shit I might sell a bass. Horizon looks properly stunning. They're quite expensive, you might need to sell a Sturgeon.

Oh wow, that Digital Foundry review has me really interested. I just don't think I can justify picking it up when I have a bunch of VR games on PC.
If someone can make this PC compatible (unlikely) or Sony give official PC support (even more unlikely) then I will be ordering one right away and selling my Vive.

It's actually RE: Village that's threatening to send me over the edge, but I'm not stumping up that kind of cash for a novelty. I do however have fifty million bits of musical shit that is gathering dust since I stopped playing live and... Well. That would sit alright with me.

I'd say it'll be made pc compatible by modders ASAP.

Thatโs going to be pretty unlikely. The number of PCs that could actually support it hardware wise is going to be absolutely tiny as very few GPUs have a USB C port.

If I buy this I'd want to get a nice protective case for it that I can bung out of sight when not in use, but realistically that would be its permanent home after a week or so.
Still damn tempted mind you... If they announce an Alyx port I'll be all over it.

How does this work with connecting a Quest to a PC? Seems that can be connected to a motherboard's USB-C port. One article I've quickly glanced at says you can even use a USB-C to USB-A, as long as the port is 3.1.

The Quest has the PC render the game output as a video file and sends it to the headset, like the equivalent of remote play. Regular VR operates like a monitor, displaying the actual GPU output.

I mean, theoretically someone could do that for PSVR2 but it would make all of the features pretty obsolete. Youโre not going to have a high quality image at PSVR2 resolution, FOV and refresh that way, you canโt really utilize foveated rendering, the controllers wonโt be supported by most games, etc etc. Might as well just buy a Quest 2.

Pluuuuus itโs a certainty that most of the PSVR2โs processing and drivers and all that shit are proprietary, meaning modded support will be hacky workarounds that will introduce either latency or quality issues, or both. Look at how absolutely godawful it was to get PSVR1 working on a PC for example. Next to nothing worked.

It'll be a lot less blurry than PSVR1.

Does the cinema mode work with the web browser or is it only games? Asking for Kal.
