I remember enjoying Qube1 a lot more than I expected. It wasn't up there with Portal or anything, but it exceeded expectations.
I remember almost nothing else about it though.

Blazing Sails really does look like the devs looked at Sea of Thieves and thought "we can do that". But then just stuck it into a Battle Royale format. Could at least have tried a different art style.

I wonder if anyone still doesn't have Half-Life. Does this bode well for the anniversary or not? I was kinda hoping they were going to do a Quake-style remaster or something, but if they are giving the game away, I guess not. |

Half Life 1 doesn't seem to be free anymore. Wonder if it'll come back.
I was surprised to see I actually *don't* have it, on steam at least. I have a disc around somewhere.

Looks like it's back on, as an anniversary update no less. Apparently that means modern system fixes, the inclusion of Uplink, and some multiplayer content. Nice, although I guess the Quake remasters are on a different level... but then, this one is free.

Nice. Might not be on the level of the Quake remaster, but it's still pretty sweet. I guess someone released it early before. I'm still confused as to why I don't already have it on steam. I was sure I at least had Half Life Source. *shrug*
[edit] turns out I do own HL Source, it just wasn't showing up in my library for some weird reason.
Good chance to grab HL1 for the kids accounts as well, though I doubt they'll play it as they'll claim it looks 'too old!'
PS/ I assume everyone alrady has them if they want them, but it's also a good chance to grab various HL games for pennies if you want them.

From Nov 23rd to Nov 3oth, they are giving away Deliver Us Mars.
I remember playing a little of Earthlock when it was given away by Games With Gold a few years ago, thought it was pretty decent.

'The Ramp' (a little Skateboarding toybox) is free for a few days on Fanatical, as long as you don't mind subscribing to their newsletter and linking your Steam account. Fallout 3 GOTY is free on Epic til tomorrow. They seem to be doing free games every 2-3 days over xmas.
It's a repeat though, so you might already have grabbed it.
