Just got a wishlist notification that Mechanicus is on offer, when I went to buy it I spotted that I could get Gladius as part of a bundle for a couple of quid more.
I've been ripped off! Fraud actions!!!

For some reason it feels good to get games free on one service that I already got free on another service (Hue, Gladius, etc..) It's like trying to complete the whole set.

I'd rather have them in Steam, the Epic store still seems slow and laggy in comparison.

The Warhammer Skulls Pack they're giving away on GOG includes Final Liberation. It is very old, but I have nostalgia.

Midnight Ghost Hunt is Epic's freebie, and Tell Me Why is free on Steam at the mo too.

It's apparently already in my library...
No idea when I got that. Must have been free another time or I got it in a bundle.

Me too. I wonder if they gave it away for pride month last year too?

Actually, it being given away during Pride month rings a bell. You are probably right. Really should get around to playing it, as well as the Life is Strange sequels. I really enjoyed LiS1. Edit: yes, it was free last Pride month, according to Eurogamer - www.eurogamer.net/dont-nods-tell-me-why-is-free-again-for-this-years-pride-monthSlightly telling that they haven't got another choice for AA or AAA game to give away.

After finishing LiS1 Episode 1, getting pissed off at the dumb pricing for the remaining episodes of the original version, and refusing to buy it I came up with a cunning plan. So I got given it for my birthday.
I was about to play it, but I got sidetracked by System Shock.

Humble Bundle is an interesting one this month:
I've been waiting for a chance to pick up a second copy of Remnant, which is a great game (completed it on Epic). I thought Ghostwire: Tokyo got slated on release, with only wunty ploughing a lonely furrow here on Fontgeek, but it has Mostly Positive user reviews on Steam
The roguelike/ARPG looks like it might be good too. If I get the whole thing for $8 I might go for it this month.

I do plough a lonely furrow it's long and deep it leads to a burrow and in there you'll find me quite contentedly wallowing in my own malaise playing Ghostwire Tokyo before I go back down below

I know it says "wallowing in my own malaise" but in my head it keeps turning into mayonnaise.

I just figured wunty was rolling around in a puddle of mayonnaise like a pig in shit. Gleefully.

Is Humble worth having nowadays? There used to be a lot of crossover with Game Pass, Epic free games or PS Plus, which meant it was a bit meh. For less than £100 for the year, it isn't a bad deal if there are a couple of games a month worth playing, but probably not if you already have access to the same games elsewhere.

Well I only pay for months where I fancy a few of the games - I pause my sub otherwise. I think the plan was more expensive for a while, but basically for me it works out at $12 a month
EXCEPT - I only get it maybe three times a year, and if I pause a month, they generally offer the folllowing month to me for $8...so it's $8 for generally three games I want. And you only pay for the months you want. Maybe there's a set fee for the year if you came in later?
I had Gamepass for a while but felt it was too much of a burden because I couldn't get out of that mindset of thinking I had to play the games to get value out of it. I've also pretty much moved away from AAA games.

Think I had it when it was £12 a month. I managed to get a deal that I think dropped it to £8, maybe lower, but then I paused it for a month and lost the deal. Saw similar deals pop-up ever so often, but they were always for new subs.
The current £9 isn't too bad if a couple of the games are worth having.

Payday 2 is the new freebie on EGS.
Next week's ones are Guacamelee 2 and Guacamalee Super Turbo Championship Edition.

I had it for a year and found that I regretted it. The quality of the bundles has definitely dipped over the last year or two, not helped by Epic and Gamepass offering a lot of them. Also a problem of time - some of the smaller games occupy that tier where I'd love to play through then but realistically there are too many good games and not enough time to play them all. So back to monthly and pausing. This month is good example... Ghostwire and Remnant both available on Gamepass and both C-tier interest for me.

You can still pause individual months if you're on an annual sub
