By EG legend Edwin Evans-Thirlwell, no less. For once I agree with him though, I haven't played the game but it's shit.

Last free game Epic game is Dishonoured Definitive Edition. Interesting choice as I think loads of people have played this game by now. Not really what I was expecting to end your 12 days of Christmas giveaway, I know it's free and I don't want to sound ungrateful but you know what I mean. I'm complaining! I'd had Dishonored on my wishlist for about 10 years and I finally bought it in the Xmas steam sale! That's like 1 pound fifty down the drain!

Daymare 1998 is currently free on GOG.
It looks pretty bad, mind you.

Doesn't look that bad, IMO. The faces are ugly and the writing is probably going to be bland, but it looks like a passable RE clone.

Gamedec seemed like one of those interesting but flawed games that EGS giveaways are great for trying www.rockpapershotgun.com/gamedec-reviewEpistory looks nice, it's one of those ones I've had on my wishlist for ages because I thought it would be good for the kids. EGS giveaways are also nice for those.

I'm currently trying to clean up my wishlist a bit and I stumbled across The Wild Eternal, kind of an atmospheric, philosophical open-world walking simulator. They apparently started giving it away for free at some point. Just added it to my library.

Can anyone recommend an app or something to keep track of what games you own across all the different hosts?

GoG Galaxy is all you need. You can download third-party plugins from GitHub to add more shops to it also

Cry of Fear is also free now. It's apparently Survival Horror more focussed on gameplay on top of the Horror. There appear to be weapons in it and enemies look disturbing.
And another free Horror game: When the Darkness comes: Apparently a fairly "artsy" game about depression. Hadn't heard about it at all.
Edit: I'll just keep adding them.
Phoning Home is another one from the list that has gone free at some point. Two robots babbling at each other in an open world trying to leave the planet they are stranded on.

The aforementioned Epistory - Typing Chronicles is now free on Epic. Looks nice. No idea how long the gameplay will hold interest. Haven Park is free on www.gog.com Never heard of it but it looks like a mini Animal Crossing / Short Hike clone. Looks fun enough for the 2-3hr runtime. Rayman Raving Rabids is free on Uplay if you can be bothered with their annoyingly complex sign-in system. store.ubi.com/rayman-raving-rabbids-tm-/56c4948888a7e300458b47de.html

According to PC Gamer, a steam activated copy of Dungeon of the Endless can be had by signing up at Amplitude's community site
Haven't tried as backlog already longer than time, but I think this was well regarded in its day, and can personally vouch for other Endless titles being good'uns.
edit: as per neilch below, now out of stock

The Looker is free on steam. A The Witness-parody I think. Or homage? Perhaps both. So I suppose you should probably play that one first.
Edit: Oh, and NaissanceE has been free for a while. Still is just in case I haven't mentioned it around here. Unique artstyle with light-and-dark-mechanics and some platforming. It knows how to do scale and has some good music.

For some reason I was thinking it was a parody of the movie where Harrison Ford goes off to be Amish. This makes more sense, but is less interesting.
