I bought it last week, played an hour and discarded. I don't know what they were fucking thinking with that monotone woman going "join" "item" "empty" etc every 3 seconds. So so annoying and put me right off the game.
So Lost Odyssey wins as that was ace and I actually played it

Remaster the whole Blue Dragon trilogy while you're at it, I'm pretty sure the DS games were played by like a dozen people total* and they're fun enough to not deserve such obscurity IMO
*sarcasm, but the actual numbers are still pretty pathetic from what I could find

I think, if anyone wants to buy it, it's still on sale on the Xbox store. I paid about £9 for it with the dlc yesterday.

I love both.
I definitely prefer seeing the enemies on screen like BD but LO has the much better story, Characters and music. Though Blue Dragon also has some great music.

Matey who made these is back at Square - he gave an interview recently and was asked if he would release Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon on modern consoles (sounds like he has retained the rights to them rather than MS?) and he said nah, would rather revitalise some shitty mobile game he made that died a death in 2014.
Needs to release both so we can keep arguing FFS!

Yeah both are BC.
MS own both IPs and have them listed on Microsoft intellectual properties site.
Think he was likely asked due to gossip of a BD remaster being announced last month and I doubt MS would make more without him.
