Killing Floor 2 was announced as a PS+ freebie earlier and that went down about as well as you'd expect... Announcement tweets have been deleted and it's probably a matter of time before Sony substitute it with something else.

I'm not really wanting to make a big deal out of it or single someone out (it's more that I see a lot of this from a lot of people), but... I see something like this and the number of likes it gets
and I think... fuck off? Yes I am a cis white male. But I try to be a good human being, and wholeheartedly support the causes that people like this champion. I think we're on the same team!
But I dunno. I'm not going to go down a red-pill rabbit hole as a result or anything; I'm not *that* weak-minded. It's just irritating to be treated as a monolithic bloc based on things out of my control, when I do my best to not treat others like that.

But you can express that in a more nuanced way (lol Twitter) that doesn't alienate people who are otherwise on your side. Again, it's not this specific person, just more of a common sentiment I see. Anyway, I can weather it just fine. But that doesn't stop it from being annoying. |

Statements like that can also be intended as a joke, its hard to tell. The most extreme sounding statements often get most attention, good or bad and people making these statements know it and do it anyway whether they truly believe what they say or not. I wouldnt put too much stock into it. People like that can be equally as toxic as the ones on the other side of the political divide that you hate. The CEO of Tripwire is stepping down from his role after his endorsement of the Pro life ruling in Texas. All he had to do was keep his shitty opinion to himself. But no doubt he'll be on a podcast complaining about cancel culture within the week. |

What does that even mean? People are talking about Roe Vs Wade having an “expiration date” It’s a reference to white cis males making all the decisions on everything for everyone else, in context I think it’s fine. |

There definitely seems to be a very neat Venn diagram with them in it. The same people who let endlessly babies being born but are quick to call them scroungers, future criminals, lazy. I think even saw a news report where w school board didn't want to give school kids free lunch dinners because it might make them too comfortable, you know too comfortable with not starving.

It's the loudest part of the internet, but that someone gets a lot of likes on Twitter for saying something does in no way mean that's representative of a majority. |
