I see the new Cyberpunk will be made in Chicago at a new CDPR studio, I wonder what brought that on?

Hoping for a Sharkey and George reboot from them.

This really is so brilliant now. I've always loved it but now at 60fps, everything stable, no crashes, lots of tweaks to everything it's just one of my favourite games ever.
Just finished the first act I guess. It's hard not to just always invest every level up into intelligence as hacking is so o.p. later on. It perhaps makes the game a little harder earlier as currently I can do all that much and I desperately need more RAM.

I’m glad of it, because I just don’t care for shooters. Let me just sneak and point at those I want dead.

It makes the game much easier, but also much less fun, IMO.
Punching everything with Gorilla Arms is the way.

Any "bum a joytoy in a dirty sex alleyway" mods yet? I mean, there's the two you can hire on Jig Jig Street.

I know everybody seems to love the Caliburn, but the Quadra Type 66 Avenger is my favourite vehicle in this.

Just did a side gig that wasn't there the first time I played. Picked up a random BD wreath and it played a scene from the Netrunners animated series. That was a cool addition.

Oh yeah, that came with the latest update. Wait a few in-game days and you'll get a text from Falco from the show, then he'll send you to one of the fixers to get David's jacket.
I do like the Quadras quite a bit, but I do tend to stick to the bikes as well because it's more annoying to try to needle through in a giant sports car.
Also, I like the look of the Nomad-modded car variants Dakota sells.

Took on some jobs in a different order than I did on my first playthrough, and it led to some interesting results that gave me more context on certain characters and situations and influenced my choices.
Spoilers for two side gigs, highlight because spoiler tags on pro-boards are not well formatted.
Gig: Olive Branch Wakako sent me to meet a guy called Sergei, who wanted me to deliver a car to the Tyger Claws. There was a guy in the boot of the car called Alex, who offered to pay me double in order to let him go free. The first time around, I took this deal. Sergei was not pleased.
Gig: Guinea Pigs This was a mission where Dino contracted me to take out a doctor called Joanne Koch whose unethical experiments had claimed the lives of dozens of Nomads. My V is a Nomad on this playthrough, so this didn't sit well with me.
This time around, I did the Guinea Pigs gig first. Then later when I did Olive Branch, when Alex mentioned that he worked for Biotechnica, there was a conversation option where V could ask if he knew Joanne Koch. Turned out he had actually worked on the same project with her, and went off on a xenophobic rant about how it didn't matter how many Nomads had died because they were "disgusting roaches who would just multiply anyway". This time I closed the trunk on him, and drove the car to the Tyger Claws. No regrets.

Nvidia released a hotfix for the fact that their newest driver update (522.25) broke Cyberpunks' map.

The hands down best car is the Type 66 Javelina.

I finally picked this up again having not played since May (had to look up my save files), was thinking of starting again but didn't realise I'd actually played 32 hours so I'm just going to continue from where I left off. This is much more like the game I wanted at release, really enjoying it!
I was really underwhelmed by the mantis blades, but fuck me the gorilla fists are extremely good!

Mantis blades and monowhip are just waste of a good slot.
Kinda related, I'm reading Mona Lisa Overdrive by William Gibson. It's very good. I'd thoroughly recommend all his books. Despite the terrible writing they're great for the Cyberpunk feel.
Kinda unrelated:

For anyone who may be interested:
(I'm guessing that's local time in Italy, which would be 13:30 in the UK.)

I wish there was story DLC for CP2077 instead of a new game coming out in who knows when.

If the sequel is anything like the first game, you won't have to wait long enough

Surely the next game will be easier at launch though, it’s not like they are discarding the engine and starting again with a whole new one. That’d be unreal.

They should keep Night City as it is too. It's an amazing setting, to build a new location from scratch would be a complete waste of effort. Just flesh the city out a bit more, add the metro system, more building interiors, etc. Focus all the effort on a good story and side quests, and improving the combat and AI.
