Yeah, those spiders are everywhere around Tokyo, though I've never seen one inside a house. They tend to make massive webs between trees or covering bushes in the urban parks, and seem to like making webs on footbridges over roads as well. They look pretty scary due to the size, armored appearance and coloring, but afaik they aren't dangerous. And the good thing about them and their webs being fackin huge is that you rarely walk into one by accident. |
