It was futuristic series by the same guy that did the Simpsons. Basically a guy from our time gets frozen and ends up in the year 3000. That was such a great episode. First time a cartoon made me shed a tear.
That original run of Futurama is still the greatest animated show of all time, IMO. Shame they couldn’t recapture the magic in the later Comedy Central season. Makes me worried for the upcoming Hulu revival, but I choose to be cautiously optimistic.

Heatwave in 30% of the USA.
Heat emergencies in southern Europe.
Wildfires in the canary islands.
Record rainfall and floods in parts of Korea and Japan.
Plus it's ridiculously hot in my apartment this weekend.

It's a sad fact that only when millions of affluent (compared with third world) people in developed countries actually start to die or are forced to migrate to cooler locations every year will there ever be any serious action taken to address climate change. A few years to go yet ....
