I'm mid thirties and sometimes I feel like gaming is leaving me behind when I read articles like that.
Don't use any social media, don't follow anyone on YouTube (couldn't even name a 'personality'), don't watch Twitch.

Especially about some dude on Twitter who essentially would just shorten down press releases, apparently that makes you a legend. |

Rotherham: Murder arrest after man fatally stabbed at FedEx depotBoth my dad and brother work there and found this out when going to work yesterday. Unbelievably tragic - the bloke who died worked there for 20 years and his son was working the same day. All due to him giving a sub-contractor a disciplinary over stealing fuel. The subbie then left the office, came back 20 minutes later with a hammer and knife and killed him in cold blood. Some other staff got a few cuts as they kept him shut in the office before the police arrived (no lock on the door). FedEx made the employees carry on working in the warehouse as the body was still laying there in the office upstairs. Just unreal. Hope he rots.

Not sure if it's terribly edgelord- I think every time we have a cake/scone or biscuit with fruit in it at work someone will always joke about it counting as one of their five a day.
I don't think anyone actually believes that, and I highly doubt anyone thinks they can quote a beer habit as part of that either.

Re BrewDog, maybe I'm just blinded by a personal dislike of the company, but it struck me as a (fairly typical) "Fuck it - we'll try this, and either we'll get away with it or we won't. It's publicity either way!" marketing strategy.

This is the thing with Brewdog. They do decent beers and seem to have some decent policies too.
They also appear ‘edgey’ which many don’t like and then that is amplified by this negative publicity fuelled by this vendetta that seems, on the face of it, to be pretty horrific and cut and dried that it’s some crazy hateful woman.
If so, their silence until now is admirable.
I’ll continue drinking their beers
