It looks good, but it isn't as exciting for me as the last trailer. That felt like a new take on the Batman movie, where this feels like a new Batman movie. Still good, I'm still in, but it could fit into any of the previous Batflicks. That's what I thought about the previous trailer (compared to the teaser, which was awesome). Watched the recent Batman trailer. It looks good, but it looks much more generic-batman-movie than the first trailer did. |

Actually you know what, I was obviously joking about this, but I would legitimately love it if an adaptation just said "fuck it, Bruce's parents are alive this time" and just took it from there. Maybe he could just be a spoiled rich kid kind of Batman. |

I don’t fully understand the weird internet revisionism of Snyder’s DC as some legendary work of mythology. Even his twenty billion hour cut of Justice League was 7/10 at best, it’s not like anything of note will be lost by recasting and rebooting everything.

I was surprised about Whedon's cuts, for the record I think Snyder is an absolute hack and a lot of his output seems directed to 15 year old boys and men with the maturity of a 15 year old. However Snyder's cut actually made sense plotwise in JL, disregarding the fact that he was only able to get his plot in a 4hr running time. But that fucking russian family in the Whedon cut can GTFO. |

The Russian family, the weird “they can smell fear” ending for the parademons, Aquaman sitting on the lasso of truth and getting all emotional, Cavill Moustache Removal, etc. It’s definitely a more rounded film even if it’s still mostly crappy and didn’t need to be that long.
Also it still fundamentally fell back on “Superman arrives and saves the day” for the conclusion, with a dash of the ol’ “just turn back time if we fail”.
