So I've got a JVC telly, which the PSPro / PS5 just plug into and work, so hassles.
initially, the X1X did, but as time went on, the picture started to cut out at regular intervals, would go completely blank for a few seconds before returning. Finally, it went completely blank, and I had to do a factory reset to get it up and running.
We moved house, and the machine has now decided that my telly isn't a 4k one, despite the Sony machines having never had an issue.
On ONE occasion, messing around in the options, I noticed that the 4k options had all returned, but as soon as I changed the console resolution, I got a black screen until it knocked itself back into regular HD. Things I've tried:
using a different HDMI cable (including those used on the PS machines)
using different HDMI ports
changing the HDMI version in the TV settings
It's hardly a big deal, but it's really annoying me - any ideas?
