Yup, completely agree - Portugal deserved a win, Fiji earned a place in the QFs, and Australia merit their early exit.

So good to see teams with fractions of the resources do well, the usual whipping boys just making up the numbers is the worst thing about the World Cup, just a reminder that it’s still a sport only a handful of countries can compete in

I just don’t get it, if Farrell is your best 10 as a coach, why bother with all the fucking about with other lineups? Why try the 10-12 one more time when everyone knows it doesn’t work, what’s the fucking point? Some sort of lip service to Ford saving your bacon in the first 2 matches, but now Owens back let’s revert to our best lineup? Astonishing fucking dumb coaching. Where are these partnerships he was talking about before the Samoa game he wanted to develop?

England squad official, Farrell and Smith. Tuilagi again, he went off with another knock last week so probably give it til half time before he repeats this week and Ford comes on at 10
