I thought the guard randomly throwing punches in the first clip was bad enough but that crush too and I would never have guessed that the third clip would even be a thing Yeah, scary stuff. Reminded me of the Gate 7 tragedy over in our neck of the woods, celebrating fans getting trampled because the gate hadn't been opened properly... And this is supposed to be among the World Cup venues? Lot to fix in 2 years then... |

One of the Arsenal podcasts I listen to is hosted by an American and he was basically saying last week that the US Sports culture is just so different that they seem totally unprepared for the bad elements of football fan behaviour. For US Sports, mixed seating is common, people drink at games, and there is very little trouble.
Obviously naivety isn't a valid excuse for dangerous failings, but it does somewhat explain some of the mindset that could cause issue. If they thought a typical NFL stewarding and crowd control template plus a few extra bodies would be sufficient those illusions have been firmly shattered.
We had similar issues at Wembley not so long ago so it's not like these things are easy even with direct relevant experience. Hopefully no one was badly hurt whilst they learnt these lessons.

There’s a bit I hadn’t really noticed first time in the first clip where someone inside the crowd is lifting young looking children over the railing out of the side of crush. Genuinely felt queasy seeing that and imagining being scared enough for my boy that I’d be passing him blind to a stranger to get him out of the situation I wouldn’t know when/how I was getting out of

Fenerbahce believe there is a huge long-standing conspiracy against them. I can't decide if Mourinho is the absolute best option or absolute worst option in those circumstances.
I'd be surprised if they make it through the season without a match being abandoned.

It's a friendly and it's Olympics season for MumFE, we barely even watched it  Our third goal was nice though! And the defense has time to improve, last season we didn't even get going until like February  |

Must admit I'm only half watching while watching YouTube videos on my PC. England should have scored a couple and so should Greece, it's not a good game if anyone thought that sounds like a lot is going on.
