When I loaded it up yesterday to help quadfather I noticed that I’d played 300 hours across my various characters…
…and I still can’t navigate the levels half as well as I can on Dark Souls, I find them quite complex and intricate and not intuitive at all
Even when I look at the names on the gravestone things I’m confused which area is which

Yeah u need to kill bsb so the door opens next to cathedral ward lantern. The you drop all the way to the bottom, avoid the bag man go up the lift and drop down to open the gate.

I can't remember how to befriend the machine gun guy either.
And if I return the red brooch to the little girl *after* killing the pig in the sewers, does that mean I can't get the white messenger ribbon later on after returning after beating rom? I really can't remember that one.
I'll have to start looking things up or ill miss everything again.

You have to come at him from the back so you don't trigger him shooting at you. Which I think is via Gaol after killing the boss there

Edited. You have to go to Gaol early (get one of the sack men to kill you), kill the electric beast boss, then use the door to enter Old Yharnam. As long as you don't aggro him from the front so he starts shooting, he should be neutral and you can talk to him

Tried rolling to my left, keeping behind it, fire paper, summoning Alfred, keeping antidotes at hand, the lot. The idiot keeps one shotting me in phase 3 with that bullshit non-telegraphed grab move that fucks you. But yeah, let me know if/when you're able to help punish this twat. And yeah, I'm wearing most of gazzas outfit to get the slow poison resist. Not that it makes that much difference. Slow poison my arse. I'd hate to see a fast one |

Yeah it barely makes any difference. I remember the first time I beat BSB I didn’t know it poisoned you and I’d won and didn’t realise, then just died as I carried on my explore and I was like WTAF!!! This game is f*cking shit, there’s not even a enemy there |

I'd hate to see a fast one BSB was my roadblock the frist time I played through BB. Absolutely hated him. Basically a poison version of flamelurker. Remember he is optional though. You only need to kill him for the first chalice.

Yeah he was bloody awful. Didn't have Alfred to summon in the base game either, which really helps to get a vial off. I started over and pumped all my stats into Vit to survive his nonsense
