The are actually quite a few good Microsoft games that could make it onto such a thing. Rallisport Challenge, Mechassault, PGR, etc.
The question is whether MS still has the rights to those games.

For those that have been using the emulator apps. Looks like MS have finally been pressured into shutting them down.

Bugger, just ordered a series x, didn't realize emulation had been shut down. It wasn't why I bought it, but I still thought it was a cool feature and now it's not. I can emulate fine on my PC, but just for convenience.
Does this set a precedent? I've never known anyone disabling software remotely if it's legal? I can understand things being delisted it licenses run out (but you can usually download them if you already owned them).
I would love to see the backlash if they tried this on PC.

Well we'll see what happens when Steam finally host Dolphin for sale later this year. Yes emulation is legal but Nintendo can easily stop you getting access to a paid for version of it goes through Steam and as far as I know Nintendo doesn't give a fuck about things like fan backlash.

Yeah Nintendo got involved to shut it down. Real shame as it wasn't just Nintendo stuff. Pretty much every Xbox game was getting the treatment.

Dolphin will be free on Steam, it's open source and noted on digitaltrends site
You can still do all the emulation stuff in Dev mode, it gives your xbox a walled garden to use the software without any access to important parts on the system.

Even if it's free you know Nintendo will be there day one, they can't have people enjoying their old games when they can continually sell them again and again for each system like the cunts they are.

Don't say bad things about Nintendo.
It's like saying candyman in a mirror 3 times.

Ubisoft+ Multi Access is now available for Xbox. £15 per month. So an extra £2 over the cost of Ubisoft+ for the "multi access" part which covers console games and streaming PC games via Amazon Luna.
Bit of a shit deal really. I would much rather have seen a slightly cheaper tier that only included the console games rather than a more expensive offering that I won't use most of.

Since when did queues on xcloud become a thing? I only use the Xcloud thingy to help get my Rewards points. I’ve probably been seeing the “lot of people playing”, and also it just never connecting sometimes, since about Christmas.

I thought I'd have a quick go on No Mans Sky and don't have room to install it currently. First time I've noticed it.

I love Racer, but this is not exactly the kinda stuff that would make me go out and subscribe.

It's weak, yes, but I'm not complaing this month. I almost bought Racer a few weeks ago.

Best news for ages. I've lost count of number of times I've almost bought racer in the sales. That, Redfall and possibly Amalur as I just picked up the DLC for it will mostly be occupying May for me then.

I still need to try the Amalur expansion that came out the other year.

Age Of Wonders 4 is great. Better than Planetfall in every regard, looks beautiful, and with an amazing help feature, which is just nested descriptions of everything, and yet transforms the game because more is explained in 5 turns than you usually get in a whole campaign. 2 days play, not had to consult the internet once. Most console strategies have so little help you need to google even finding it.
Watching the battles replay is really cool too, the units move and engage almost in real time. Great game, stands alongside Stellaris and Bannerlord for console strategy goodness.

Are they ever going to let us use any expansion card? Was sure they said Seagate only had a years exclusivity.

Mistakenly purchased the wrong version of a game on the Xbox store and was surprised how easy it was to get a refund. Didn't even realise you could get refunds for digital games
It was kind of their fault as the X/S version wasn't listed in the choose version panel of the store for the game and was listed separately, but I was still quite impressed. Took no time at all either

They will refund even if you've played a game a bit and decided you don't like it. Or bought one or more when hammered for instance.

No idea re the others. I imagine if you ask Nintendo for a refund, they send you a link. And not the internet or Zelda kind.

Sony are pretty terrible for refunds too in my experience. Steam have a 2 hour playtime window where you can get a no quibble refund.
