Hamilton's tyr.s will be toast by the time Max reaches him. MV isn't catching quickly enough. Should be over 1s/lap. That said, anything is possible and maybe LH's team fucked up the strategy. They have a fundamentally quicker car and could have passed MV on track. |

Yeah think Mercedes have chosen the better strategy for about the first time this season. Verstappen will probably be in his mirrors but doubt he'll be threatened.

They've had an air of getting their excuses in early all weekend tbh. It's felt kinda inevitable since Brazil. It will be a tough pill to swallow for them but they've given us a cracking season.

I think you only need to look at this pace on ancient tyres to know stuff like lap 1 made no real difference.
Safety car now but surely there aren't enough laps to finish this race unless they red flag.
