I thought the trailer for Maestro - the Bradley Cooper film about Leonard Bernstein - was pretty effective. I like the change in 'film stock' and colours over the course of time. I watched something recently that did a similar trick - First Man, maybe?

Looks like it could be a fun leave your brain at the door popcorn flick to me. I've got absolutely no connection with the original though, so couldn't really care less if it's total sacrilege.
Hyped for more Caesar/apey action too, although it's a shame Matt Reeves isn't sitting in the director's chair again.

My personal headcanon is that the mantle of the "Road Warrior" is something passed down from master to apprentice, and Hardy's Max is a different person. Otherwise known as the "James Bond is a codename" theory of recasting.
