(112-112 was crazy scoring...almost as bad as the shit show that was the Haney Lomochenko robbery last week).

Watching Crews-Dezurn v Marshall. First time I’ve ever seen a boxer sing the national anthem before a match. Damn good job of it too.
Boxing fans are the worst though. The way they behaved you’d think she was singing a Gary Glitter medley.

Fury is such a prick.
It's more or less impossible for a UFC fighter to beat a decent trained boxer in a boxing match. Fury will just dictate how long he wants the fight to go on for then end it when he wants. Then make a fortune from the Saudis and mugs buying it.

Inoue vs Fulton should be happening soon. The co-main event is on at the moment. Odd having a fight on a Tuesday lunch time but I'm not complaining. This could be the fight of the year (if Spence vs Crawford this weekend isn't)

Crawford Spence sounds like was much more one sided than I’d have expected I'm a bit annoyed actually. I've been looking forward to this fight for the longest. I've also said Crawford beats Spence for the longest time too. Let's be honest, Spence is an incredible welterweight but Crawford is just different gravy. There is a reason Al Haymon had tried to avoid this fight for as long as possible and why Spence would keep parroting 'cross the street'. Haymon is clever, he knew there was a high chance Crawford beats Spence and he would've lost all of those belts to Bob whilst Bud was over on ESPN. But that fight on Saturaday shows why Al was right to swerve Bud for as long as possible. The levels were way further apart than I thought they were. An argument can be made that PBC/Haymon/Spence had their hand forced as Jaron Boots Ennis is the IBF mandatory and he looks like he's all risk no reward. May as well bet big on becoming undisputed rather than potentially losing it all to a mandatory defence. I know Bud was a wrestler and it shows whenever there is a clinch. He is phenomenally strong but he's also got everything else and my favourite thing about bud is his spite. Between both him and Inoue, they have to be some of the best and most vicious finishers active today. The reason I'm annoyed is I mentioned several times to friends and on forums that Bud would win within 9 rounds... I just didn't actually bet on it. Grrr. Feeling a bit lost now. Waited for that fight for 4 years and while it delivered, I don't know what else to look forward to. I'm looking forward to AJ vs Whyte 2 but not exactly thrilled, Beterbiev vs Smith is off, I couldn't give a toss about what crate of eggs Benn is going to fight and outside of a British dust up between Buatsi and Azeez, not much to look forward to. |
