Yeah suppose the premise is similar. The way the games actually plays is completely different though.

More I play this the more I think it's one of the best third person shooters going. Using the railgun now and it's just perfect.
Get that roadmap out. I'd love to see where we're going with this. The fundamentals are so strong.

I've made it to level 5.
Had a couple of great matches today. Squad of four, v highest was level 8. Everyone working towards the objective - destroying eggs, no one pushing me off the extraction point.
Then I later got up with a level 18 guy. He basically called me through two more of those same missions.
I'm assuming most here are well above level 5 and are playing much harder missions? I've been reluctant to try to join anyone...

The Breaker on the free warbond is pretty much the go to gun, it's on page 4.

Mulches bugs so good that, but I do hope they buff some of the other weapons as it's so much better than anything else I've unlocked. At least for bugs, I'm on page 7 for unlocks I think now and still have hardly touched the robot side of things.

Great games tonight with CraigBleasdale (remember him from EG forums but don’t know if he’s on here).
First hard missions were tackled tonight, lots of fun!

My raging FOMO finally got the better of me and I bought the game even though I really don't think I'll be playing this a lot considering my advanced age. Turns out I'll be playing this a lot less than I thought:  |

Majorly gutted you guys get this and we get f*cking Redfall on Xbox. Double dip  I have both machines, Sony still (mostly) kick Xbox arse when it come to exclusives. |

Turns out I'll be playing this a lot less than I thought: That's a shame, and they need to sort it. I got the screen every time I loaded but usually got in within 2-5 minutes. But I guess server capacity is going to vary depending on where you are. And not to pour gasoline on your raging FOMO but this game is simply fantastic. I love it more the more I play it. |

For anyone struggling to get into the game, try and launch it by joining a game from your friends list. It works well on PS5, not sure if it the same on PC.
I've also heard that some AMD cards cause issues on PC but I think that is more of a case of freezing in game.

They've just absolutely nailed the tone It's so rare a mission to get as well, I've played nearly 40 hours now and am level 26 I've done it precisely once!
I saw someone online suggesting that the flag should be raised faster if everyone salutes, an idea I rather like that's so silly it would just fit.

I don't have enough medals to get beyond page2, but I have at least got a new rifle and some new armour. I'm EG_Alastair on PSN in case any other n00bs want to friend up and fight for democracy! I'd actually advise against anyone buying it at the moment, until the servers are fully functional actually playing the game can be incredibly hit and miss.

It’s been fucked for so long now I think it must be more than just a server issue.
Trying to get a refund from Sony is beyond painful though, so I’ll just have to wait.

It's just server capacity issues. The game is wildly more popular than they were expecting, and even though they keep increasing the capacity the player base keeps exceeding it.

Yeah it's been working completely fine today. Expect it'll shit itself again tonight when everyone is trying to get back on. The developers have been pretty open that they weren't expecting anywhere near the amount of players and are adding servers now.
