Yep, familiar with the FCUK hence the quote! Anybody that isn’t and likes the band read the story!

Not to everyones taste granted, but this takes me back to student days and my gf at the time did a fabulous crayon 100% repro of this. Still see an alien in the mouth.

Therapy were a band I always heard referenced in the likes of Kerrang! and Rock Sounds gig review round ups but never got around to listening to. Might give them a passing go.
One of those sort of Brit rock bands that were known but never quite made waves like the Wildhearts I think?
Edit - just stuck Troublegum on - the second song has a tasty riff indeed!
Edit 2 - this album is really good!

I was never a fan of the band but i used to spend ages looking at Yes album covers when I was young. I thought they were amazing.

Also Funkadelic popped out about 20 classic album covers in the 70s

@drake good man!! Troublegum is the poppy album. Stick on Babyteeth/Pleasure Death for raw, thrash mosh stuff!!

I've tried listening to that album so many times and just can't get into it.

Admittedly this one is only a palette swap of the book jacket but just look at it

I saw them live in supporting of The Seer. Brilliant, but my ears still haven't recovered.

I get on little ‘trips’ with music where I really listen to a particular artist or scene or genre sometimes, they usually last a month or so and I just like to go with it. It’s by no means my primary thing at all but recently it’s been Madchester into Britpop and every time I listen to these I’m reminded that Suede were the best band in the south and it’s this I’ve been listening to today. I also think this album’s artwork is sick.

I’ve always loved this as an album cover. Although I’m not sure how representative it is of the arch-nonsense actually contained on the cd.

I too go on little artist and gendre trips.
Britpop was just after Christmas after a pulp week or so, then it was funkadelic for a few weeks but that Northern Soul film has me on Motown now, though I’m listening to Ornette Coleman currently.
