What the hell is Jericho/Ishii for the ROH title doing main eventing Dynamite after a PPV? There were some good bits on this episode (particularly the Mox/Regal segment) but this main events? Awful decision.
I really wish they'd treat ROH completely separate or fold everyone into AEW and do away with the branding. This half-way house doesn't work for me at all.

Rampage has some good moments and I'll catch it now and again if something good is advertised but Dark is only worth a watch if you like wrestling matches with no stakes/impact/storylines (some people do, I'm not one of them). It's AEW's Heat.

Which I get are the Velocity and developmental brands but ROH is going to be what alongside them? More developmental? A nostalgia show for the late-00s? A standalone thing trying to compete with Impact and NWA?
I get the feeling Tony Khan is like me with video games. They were so scarce and expensive when I was a kid that now I’m an adult with money I don’t need to save up so buy what I want and now have about 30 unplayed ones in my backlogue while I continue to only play stuff I bought in the last week. Only he gets to do it with human beings.
Not that I’m hating on AEW just they need a little more medium term planning sometimes.

In all honesty they should've just folded ROH and got rid of the branding - it shut down for a reason.
The amount of belts at the moment in AEW is bloody ridiculous.

Yeah, there's some amazing matches to be had in that library - a huge mix of Danielson, Joe, Punk, McGuiness, Briscoes, Elgin, Richards, Generico, Steen etc.
Steen/Generico is still one of the best fueds I've witnessed too.

Im back to liking wrestling, Full Gear was decent but this week's episode of Dynamite was great, the crowd were great in general and absolutely electric for the fantastic trios match. Death Triangle v The Elite is probably the only match up I could watch 7 times in a row.

Never been a massive War Games fan but both matches went well enough though the women's was sloppy at times.

All this movement back to WWE really shows how much Vince was behind so many of the problems of it being a WRESTLING company as opposed to a global media entity. Such a blessing he got ousted otherwise he would have hung on until the bitter end.
I just hope AEW can continue to be successful as would hate for WWE to have a monopoly on the industry again and I really think the existence of AEW has helped WWE up their game as well. Not to mention giving me the best two years of pro wrestling since the early 2000s.

Regal back in WWE. Large reason why he didn't resign was because he wants to work with his son who recently moved from NXTUK to NXT.
Won't be allowed to be an on screen character (for now)

Sounds like 2024 as Regal approached them a couple months back asking them not to auto renew the contract after the first year.
Wonder if he helps run NXT Europe.
