Yeah it was a really good match - crowd really wanted The Acclaim to win it, they've come along quite a bit in these last few months.

Good to see Braun back in WWE too instead of floundering in CYN - don't think he'd fit anywhere else and feel he still has a lot to offer if booked correctly.
Any news on Bray coming back any time soon? If he reverts to his cult leader Waylon Mercy-style character instead of The Fiend I'd be all over that.

Fair point - I thought you didn't belive Meltzer though as he 'spouted blatant crap'? He does but he wasn't the only one to report this. And it's known Fox and WWE have clashed on certain things. Was funny Punk being a bit funny with him Sunday.

Brays apparently coming back at HiaC, Summerslam, Clash at the Castle... Did read Freddie Prince offered him a big deal to join the company he's starting.

It's better though I would prefer some shorter matches on Raw. Every match goes long enough to have 2 ad breaks and the ads seem to just happen at random times now unlike before(wrestler gets knocked to the outside). It's fresher in some ways but sometimes it feels out of place.
Not every match should go over 10 minutes.
With it being labour day yesterday I'm guessing they will see a drop this week. Oh and I did enjoy the ending to this week's Raw.
Dexter is going to be a star.

I don't understand the logic of the cage match if right at the start, Ciampa went and opened the door.
Does Miz think Lumis doesn't know how doors work?
His reveal was cool though.

I think the answer - as it is to many of WWE’s issues - is to make Raw 2 hours not 3

Raws going to stay 3, they make too much from that 3rd hour. Time to bring back....
Reports that Punk injured himself in the brawl. Every time I see something on twitter it gets funnier. Someone chucking a chair across the room and smacking Matt Jackson in the face. Part of me thought it was all a work but surely they know that more than anything that would make them all look bad rather than make people tune in?

Punk's fist made of glass, just like his ankle and chin.

Brauns body is totally knackered and so he's one dimensional but I guess they need more big lads at the moment.

I was surprised Braun’s face looked about ten years older than when he left too.
He’s a big lad though so you can book him like Big Show or Mark Henry and he can look like a monster even if he’s lost a step in the ring. I always thought he was booked more like the new Show rather than as the new Taker like some thought he would be.
It makes sense though, WWE will always need “attractions” (aka big freaks) as well as workhorses as long as its the mainstream of professional wrestling.

I’d get Punk being a work because controversy gets eyes on the product but would you want the controversy to be “our top guy is a whiney bitter old crybaby with the thinnest skin in the business”?

To think this is all over Colt Cabana.

It was nice seeing Colt show up for the AEW games coverage. I was a big Art of Wrestling fan so any chance to see him on tv is a treat even if he was banished to Dark once all the sexy former NXT guys started showing up.

He lost his shit during a media scrum, he said, you wanna talk to me, come talk to me, Bucks did, he attacked them. www.cagesideseats.com/aew/2022/9/5/23337485/aew-all-out-media-scrum-cm-punk-snaps-toni-storm-chris-jericho-videoIf you click play on the video there, it should start right when he starts speaking. The back story is, when Punk quit WWE, he wouldn't speak to anyone but his good friend Colt Cobana's podcast. He made some claims about WWE's practices. They sued him and Colt for defamation. Punk privately told him he (Punk) was at fault so he'd paid Colt's law fees for starting it. After a couple of sessions, that stopped. Later, Colt had the audacity to go backstage at a WWE show to visit some of his friends, Punk took that personally and cut all ties with him. So when he was finally signed to AEW, I guess he said he wouldn't work with Colt, which made Tony Khan shift Colt off to Dark and ROH. The Bucks, Hangman, Omega and well most of the locker room took issues with that because Colt was their friend and like an indie hero. Hence.. AEW locker room turmoil. And now all this shit with the backstage brawls and bad press.

@spooky Ta!
To seem next-level arrogant in a business such as wrestling is a real achievement. What a dick.

The absolute lack of irony on his part when he's describing their behavior as childish kills me.

My takeaway:
Things CM Punk likes:
1. Muffins 2. Lime soda 3. Danhausen 4. AJ Lee (I assume…)
Things CM Punk hates
Everything else in the whole fucking world and fuck you for asking!

Sounding like everyone involved got suspended. If punk is injured though just take the belt off him this time. No interim champ.

I mean fuck knows what's true - everyone is coming across like manbabies - but your post may highlight why Punk is so vexxed by it being accepted as fact that he got CC shifted off the AEW roster.

Let's go back to Jericho and Cody laughing at Punk thinking himself as a locker room leader.
