No way was that better than the Bourne SSP into RKO.
I like what Orton and Riddle have been doing - the 'opposite personalities' tag teams are usually always great (Team Hell No, Rock n Sock etc). Practically the only thing worth watching in the E besides Edge.

The Bourne one was obvious(but still cool).
This one had Riddle on the ground and Orton sneaking in to hit it on Chad.
Also Chad is looking more and more like the next Kurt Angle.

Possibly though word is the Steiners are going into this year's HOF so maybe they want Bron to win it again at WM weekend.
Think it would be silly to have him on the main roster right before WM.

Looks like KO v Stone Cold could be on I mean, he won’t be diving through tables Stinger style but that pop is going to be unreal. If WWE don’t overexpose him in the build-up which they will Revolution feels like AEW have hit that stride NXT did when every Takeover was ppv of the year, until the next one topped it. Incredible show. |

I can't get my head around how it will work unless it is the KO show and he just Stunners KO. His body, knees mainly, was an utter mess when he retired.

Regal is such a great addition to the roster, considering his in ring career and time as head scout for NXT. He's a king of facials and selling too so another good guy to have around backstage.
Just checked in on the mania card and although there's still 3 weeks to build, it's laughable. If you remove the two big women's matches there's fuck all left really other than Edge v AJ.

Pat McAfee vs. Austin Theory
Sami Zayn vs. Johnny Knoxville
AJ Styles vs. Edge
Carmella & Zelina Vega Vs Sasha Banks & Naomi Vs Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan
Charlotte Flair Vs Ronda Rousey
Becky Lynch vs Bianca Belair
Rey & Dominik Mysterio vs. The Miz & Logan Paul
Drew McIntyre vs. Happy Corbin
Lucky for WWE they have a decent women's roster but pat McAfee, Logan Paul and Johnny Knoxville all taking slots seems crazy to me.

Mens tag titles will be added and I'm guessing Big E/Kofi vs Sheamus and Holland
Ricochet and Finn will likely defend the IC/US belts.
And possibly a men and women's battle Royale on different nights to give others a spot on the card?
Even over 2 nights this feels overkill.
Keep WM 4 hrs and the rest of the PPVs no more than 3 hours

No More Words is the best one. Can see why he was pushing for it last year.
That grin Kross gave when they bought it back is nice after hearing him talk about that moment.
(Basically Jeff had been pushing for it for a while but WWE kept it secret right up until they played the music)

Yeah, match-wise, it didn't seem to have an effect from the viewer's perspective. Maybe an unannounced match was removed from the schedule, but it didn't seem as if anything in-ring was actually cut short.
I did notice he was going a bit long, but I didn't have a problem with it since it was clearly an emotional moment for him. He actually teared up when he talked about Schiavone, and that was rare and very cool to see.

Get the feeling a lot of the stuff with Schiavone at the start wasn't planned and more a case of him being emotional over working with a good friend again after so long(especially the thank you part).

Lot of talk that Regals heart issue from 20 odd years ago have gotten worse and he wasn't joking when he said he didn't have that long left.
Done an interview with Jericho out next week in which they talk about it.
Hopefully this is just another case of Dave Meltzer getting the wrong end of things.
Edit, take Daves Internet away for a month

It's one thing to say stuff about storylines or debuts but to be saying someone is really sick and not got long left and called out for making it up? Low. But also good to hear Regals heart is in better shape now. |
