Charlotte's spear is similarly trash.

Prefer all of those to Rocks sharpshooter. He always made it look like he was hurting himself more than them

To stop me asking daft questions over and over, can anyone link me to some sort of wrestling lingo dictionary if such a thing exists? www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/information/dictionary/A bit outdated in terms of the wrestlers it's referring to, but the definitions are okay. Much obliged.

A lot of weird shit about Kendrick has come out.
Denied the Holocaust and a 9/11 conspiracy theorist. AEW did the right thing pulling him from last nights show and could explain why WWE had Harland basically kill him off WWE TV and quietly granted him a quick release.

Kendrick and AJ are famously flatearthers/conspiracy nuts.

We can just laugh at flat earthers Also in regards to MJF vs Punk good to see they did the right thing but that match definitely should not have gone longer than 15-20 minutes. Should also be the end of the feud now. No rematch for Punk..

AJ is so good in the ring it's easy to forget he's a hick.
Here's some Steiner maths: The Number of people on roster who use Spear as their finish is directly proportional to my overall apathy for the product.
Everyone over a certain size uses it. It's boring as hell.

Isn't the spear just when they rugby tackle someone?

Kendrick and AJ are famously flatearthers/conspiracy nuts. Kendrick hasn’t met a conspiracy he wouldn’t believe but the Holocaust stuff was something else.

Was good just don't think it needed to be that long.

Maybe you needed a 40 minute MJF/Punk promo and a tag match, then a 10 minute blow off match like WWE.

We've had about 40 minutes worth of promos between the 2. They spent most of it talking about WWE rather than saying anything truly worth while.
We also had a 6 man tag match.
20 minutes would have been fine. Longer matches doesn't = better.
I bet you enjoy Brandi on AEW.

And largely everyone enjoyed those promos? Considering he spent a huge amount of his career in WWE I don't think we could skip around that, and that MJF was a major fan of him too. I think it's been a great feud.
I'm not a massive fan of Brandi but she gets the crowd worked up and largely plays up to them. Did I ever enjoy Stephanie coming out with her schtick? Not really.
Anyway WE GET IT. You want to see Brock Lesnar.. again. Lashley.. again. Throw in Goldberg...again. When's Hulk coming back? lol

Despite me saying just a couple pages back I'm not a fan of them putting Brock in the middle of everything since coming back.
No issues with Reigns, the current gimmick works well and he is the biggest name in the business right now and feels like a true champ unlike others.
Goldberg has 1 match left which is apparently happening soon so hopefully he puts someone over on the way out.
And the promos weren't about building a story it was punk just wanting some cheap pops and a chance to bitch about the place that made him millions, met his wife but didn't put him in the WM main event and still clearly bitter about. He's been saying the same stuff since he came to AEW and has followed the same pattern. Have a random match, cut a promo, do some commentary.. rinse and repeat and Wednesdays viewing figures once again showed he isn't a draw.
Meanwhile Bryan has moved on and easily the better signing of the 2 and someone who can do 40 minute matches.
MJF is still young and learning and has the potential to be the main guy in any company.

I did some catchup and was kinda interested to see the Wrestlemania main event where the women got to headline.
Rousey was more able to wrestle than I expected. I heard Becky Lynch was very over, but as it was my first time seeing her I wasn't as invested as I might have been if I'd been following the storyline. Flair seemed a decent wrestler, but somewhat lacking her dad's charisma. It seemed ok, but rather overbooked and there were a few fluffed spots. Maybe that came from the triple-threat format.
Then I watched the Hell in the Cell with Becky and Sasha Banks. That was a much more exciting match. Possibly overbooked again, but much more energy and more creative. Sasha Banks seemed great. Is she still around?

She is but coming back from a foot injury hence the short Rumble spot
She's great but sadly quite injury prone.

Honestly I only picked on the comment because you never seem happy with any product, which sadly is most wrestling fans on the internet. Just enjoy wrestling man. You can do what you like but reading into the dirt sheets, watching botches , moaning why X isn't getting over.. sure we're all guilty of it, but all the time is kind of draining to read. I made this thread out of interest/love for wrestling, not to bitch and moan. And sadly if I go on any other medium.. facebook, reddit you get the same moan moan moan moan.

Should also be the end of the feud now. No rematch for Punk.. How can you say that? It was a fantastic match. I loved it, but I do think there's a danger of Tony Khan booking more and more long matches with the upper-card talent on Dynamite in an effort to chase after those 5-star reviews which will harm the rest of the roster's chance to shine. A thing with AEW that really annoys me is the needlessly restrictive 'no more than 1 woman's match per show rule.' Post Full Gear a lot of the Men's stories had come to an end or were running on fumes, it would have been a great opportunity to start shining more of a light on the Women's division and utilize the Japanese wrestlers they had rather than consigning them to warm-up matches on Dark. Thunder Rosa vs Mercedes Martinez should have happened weeks ago in place of one of the many pointless Men's matches we've had lately, then Thunder Rosa should have interrupted Britt Baker's promo last week to set up that feud for the next PPV, instead it was overly long and established nothing.

And why is the TBS Championship defended on Rampage (TNT) and not Dynamite (TBS) ?

Yeah definitely they need to highlight more women’s wrestling, but the problem is the roster isn’t as talented as say WWE. Let’s not forget the company is still pretty new and you’re never going to get everything right. But having a longer match I don’t see an issue with because this has been built up for a while and AEW don’t do monthly ppvs, so you could argue that if they waited until the ppv you’d get bored of it dragging on. As for Goldberg. He turns up and gets a title shot with YOU'RE NEXT. Which I’m sure you can argue Lance Archer did the same thing a few weeks ago. But he has had a win/loss record. But yeah enough moaning from me

Not really sure you can compare Archer and Goldberg. Goldberg can barely lift anyone these days.
