The bleachers (where I am) have a roof, but you'd be royally dowsed if you had floor seats. Fortunately the weather forecast is decent for it anyway.
Last year I over did it before going in (too much THC vape) and then the sheer verticality of the seating and the cavernous expanse of the stadium made me feel pretty rough for the first hour. Planning on making exactly the same mistake again.
Edit - partly why I can't imagine Mania at Wembley. Would have to be in April and rain would be virtually guaranteed.

Must have some decent grounds that have roof's available. It's much better anyways imo for the atmosphere and overall look of the show.

Wimbledon Tennis Club will ensure the show goes on come rain or shine.

It'd be the first time Wimbledon did anything useful.

I’m confused. AEW announced 81k with a turnstile count of 72k last year, but this year it’s setup for 50k?!

The flip side is that with scaled down numbers and tarped off sections, the stands may actually look full this year as looking on wrestletix it's pretty much sold out.

I keep seeing Swifts concert getting the blame due to her stage. But she had around 92k and the stage was gone within a day.
Think doing it back to back was a mistake but 50k+ is still good.

It was set for 50k as soon as it went on sale, I don't think a Taylor Swift concert will have anything to do with it, dwindling interest and it not being the international debut are much bigger factors. But like you say, 50k is still an insane number for any wrestling show in the UK let alone the number two brand.

I couldn’t see many empty seats from where I was sitting last year. But yeah I think the setup could have been better. I remember a lot of people had seats right by the camera rig which was ridiculous. I think they got moved but still…

Remember when WWF did that show at the Royal Albert Hall? Near impossible to get tickets for (they were issued by ballot) and it was absolute bobbins (although notable for it being Ric Flair’s first WWF appearance, and Andre the Giant’s last). But it would be cool to see a show in that sort of venue again.

They should do something in the Empress Ballroom again.

Welcome back to the UK MJF. Someone's stolen his diamond ring.
(Good chance it gets used during the match..).

And the owner..
Right outcome in the main event. Was half expecting him to be cashed in on.

I was a little underwhelmed by the PPV. I didn’t think it was as good as last year, even after watching it at home after the live buzz.
The ladder match was entertaining. A good ending.
Mariah May vs Toni was a great match, but second on the card was baffling.
Casino Gauntlet was entertaining. A nice surprise to see Nigel. The MJF vs Ospreay match was good. Swerve vs Bryan a fantastic match.
Meh matches: Jericho/Hook Coffin match Tag team titles.. do AEW have any other tag teams? Mercedes vs Brit was awful

Brits never been good and Mone continues to expose herself.
Get the belt on Hayter.

All In yesterday was a great time. Arrived to find out our seats had been upgraded from the very top of the upper bowl to 6 rows up in the lower bowl. Quids in. We were sat to the side of the stage and had a great view and saw Taz, Nigel and JR up close making their way to commentary at various points.
Card was pretty mixed: filler, shite and gold but the crowd was hot throughout. Mone and Baker stunk the place out, predictably. Production values through the roof, stage looked great and the entrance ramp was orientated totally differently to last year. Closest you can get to going to Mania, without going to Mania.
Osprey MJF and Dragon Swerve were both brilliant and the ppv ended with a great feel-good moment to send everyone home happy. Gauntlet match was a lot of fun... Some of those counters and reversals from Zack Sabre were sublime.

Psycho Sid has passed away at 63 Noooo. I loved him as Sid Justice back in 92/93. One of the most naturally scary looking wrestlers ever to grace the squared circle.

Also, had one of the most disturbing in-ring injuries of all time. No one had ever tried doing a big boot off the second rope before, and amazingly, no one has since.

Also 2 of my favourite promo botches.
That leg injury was nasty but they missed the move on the live show anyways.

That whole Wrestlemania 8 situation was such a mess. That being said, Sid kicking out of the leg drop was very, very funny.

I hope fans don’t start dragging up that promo too much. In the end of WCW his Millennium Man gimmick was great. Plus he had a banging theme.

A few times I’ve read about Ricochet this weekend. I saw him arguing on his Facebook. Sure, he’s going to get shit.. goes with the territory, but just ignore it..

It's a great card this year - everything has at the very least had a little build (compared to last year when only the main event seemed fleshed out). Really looking forward to the following: Mone/Baker Storm/May Perry/Allin MJF/Ospreay Four-Way Ladder Casino Gauntlet Swerve/Danielson To be fair, the only matches I'm not too fussed about are the mixed tag match, Jericho/Hook (snore) and surprisingly the tag match - I'm completely fed up of Bucks vs FTR in any format, let it rest for a couple of years. Well, Mone/Baker was awful and Perry/Allin didn't do anything for me (except for the Sting cameo) but the rest of the matches I was looking forward to were good to great. The main event in particular was incredible and the crowd were on fire in a way I've not seen in a long time. Swerve was probably my favourite performer of the night - he looked like an absolute boss in the main event and his no-sell of Bryan's knee was something special. The way he carries himself and tells a story in the ring is leaps and bounds above where he used to be. Storm/May was surprisingly my second favourite match. It was merely good in the ring but the story they told was great. Toni Storm's character work has been brilliant and I really hope she keeps the character going when it's still very popular. She really put Mariah over. Seeing the main event on TV makes me wish I'd gone this year. Won't be making the same mistake for Forbidden Door.

I’ve not had time to properly keep up with wrestling for the last couple of months but stoked for Danielson. One of my all time favourites and seems to be a genuinely nice guy.
Gutted for Sid. Surprised he was only 63. Might not have been the greatest in the ring but I was a kid during his WWF runs so loved Psycho Sid as a big scary dude during the New Generation.

The Storm/May needed to be higher up the card though. I think it does them a bit of a disservice being second on the card.
