Bit odd to have Ospreay win a title then put him in to the main title picture straight after, Roderick Strong could have had an actual feud with someone else and Ospreay could have had a random MOTY contender with another wrestler at Double or Nothing instead.
And I'm not really a fan of Best Friends splitting up, it helps Trent in the short term but he'll probably disappear by next year. It also robs us of Cassidy/Statlander mixed tags, but that potential was never going to be explored anyway.

I don’t really like this time of year in AEW, as Forbidden Door does nothing for me. Was I supposed to pop for people I’ve never heard of?

I'm fine with them doing the Henry retirement piece and up for now AJ vs Cody especially if it's at Clash. |

It's 2024 and this Sunday has a WWE event in a UFC facility with a match involving the NXT women's champ and TNA Knockouts Champ.
Really think they should put Grace over seeing as Giulia is currently injured.

It's the most consistently booked show and gets a lot done in it's 2hrs without feeling rushed unlike the others.
Still want them to dim the lights a bit during matches.

It's fucking dreadful. Sucks that no ones been able to find that No Mercy magic again. Fight Forever really feels like half a game or a big demo so far. The gameplay in matches is fun but the roster feels small and the game modes seem pretty limited. Think I’ll probably tap away at it for a week or so then drop it. No way am I paying for all that dlc and four season passes to bulk up the content. |

Think I played it for about 3hrs and felt like I had seen it all.
Really didn't like the art style but some of the mini games were fun.
If you could get those as a mobile download I would play them now and then.

I’m guessing the season mode is basically identical no matter who I choose so once I settle on which of PAC, Dustin or Cassidy I’m winning the World Title as I’ll have a run through of that.
Since the gameplay is so casual and arcadey if this had a universe mode I could see myself using it as a podcast brain off game but I’m not going to set up a load of exhibition matches myself.

Just about to go to the show. The city centre was basically just a wrestling village earlier. Merchandise being worn everywhere.
Did I buy a Jey Uso t shirt at the pop up shop to get in the spirit of the occasion while I got my kid something? Yes I did. Jokes on me the cunt isn't even advertised to be here anymore.

It seems a combination of the pricing and Scotland playing led to this not being a sellout. The section we were meant to be in got closed off and we got redistributed to another area of the arena. Luckily being polite to the lady at the box office so my kid had seats he could definitely see from bagged us a fantastic view and it was a really good show.
Cody Rhodes' popularity is just on another level. They went ape shit for him tonight, more so than they did for Drew McIntyre in the match after the show finished. My viewership has a large gap in it so I can't speak for what I've missed over the years, but I haven't seen someone so consistently popular on pure face value since Stone Cold and The Rock.
