Jay is good but its not got the same impact coming after ROH announced they’re releasing all their talent next month

Can't really criticise them on the announcement. We've had so many surprises this year. He's a solid worker and will help elevate AEW. Plus he isn't a WWE guy which everyone seems to obsess over..

The cody match was a bit meh, which was an achievement considering the wrestlers in the ring, felt like something that should have been on dynamite instead of a ppv.
It was still an overall great ppv, though, other than a few duds. Opening and title match were amazing and I really enjoyed the superkliq match - the top team match was a mess in comparison.

The only (semi possible) names I'd mark out for doing some aew dates or signing full time would be Okada, Ibushi, Ospreay from NJPW or Kevin Steen / El Generico coming back.

I think its inevitable that we’ll see a NJPW crossover at some point with AEW. They’d be mad not to considering the types of nerds that make up the All Elite audience.

WWE have proven how little they care about Survivor Series with its build up this year. They should just scrap it IMO and it was always the least favourite of mine in regards to the big 4.
Put King of the Ring in its place and use it to build up towards the Rumble and Mania.
Really sucks about ROH. Was hoping someone would come in and give them a lifeline.

Survivor Series makes no sense with the "brand warfare" schtick when all the wrestlers are in the same fed and they only did the roster switches a matter of weeks ago. The way they have to wear the "team" colours is so cringey

Someone else could start a new company with all these released wrestlers.
Avoid the issues that WWE and AEW show weekly and actually have a plan for the talent they hire and you've got a seriously good promotion.
Sounds like Top Dolla single handedly got all of Hit Row released.

There are going to be a crazy number of free agents with decent profiles over the next few months between WWE releasing anyone whose ever had an indy match and ROH shutting up.
I wonder if the future for Impact and NWA should be using more talent on shorter runs than sticking with a more permanent roster of contracted wrestlers

Crazy thing is WWE still has over 200 wrestlers.
How does Elias avoid the chop? They put out a bunch of "Elias is dead" vignettes 2 or 3 months ago then nothing.

Finally met my childhood hero Bret. Got a photo and he signed my winged eagle belt. His talk he held nothing back as usual. Calling Hogan a piece of shit lol. Heard it all before but still funny.
Also met Britt Baker and Luchasaurus.

So weird and pointless theming the PPV around someone who isn't booked to appear. If he had passed away and it was a memorial I'd kind of get it but this made zero sense. Classic Fed.
Although I'm sure we'll see him at Mania for a big angle with Roman.
