It may look like a Game Boy game but Void Stranger is probably one of the best games of the year. What initially looks like a simple Sokoban game soon turns into something much more complicated and mysterious. If you've got any interest in stuff like the Witness then you really should give it a go. And yes, it is a little bit like Stephen's Sausage Roll. |

I'm kind of interested. But I don't really like Sokoban games, so is that part of it easy/painless enough for me to be able to get to whatever the twist is?

If you really dislike Sokoban then it may not be for you, there's quite a few puzzles to get through. It does at least try to ramp up the difficulty gradually and give "tutorial" puzzles for new game mechanics though. |
