Prey was Austin as well but I believe much of the team left before Redfall.
Even if it turns out great I'm not loving the idea of them having to make a Marvel tie-in and am assuming it's because Deathloop maybe didn't sell so well.

I can kind of see it - sword combat with special powers is very Arkane. It's just it being a Marvel thing that seems a bit weird. Is there a Blade film coming out? That would worry me more

The teaser didn't really show much, certainly nothing of actual gameplay, so hard to say what this will actually be. I've seen Blade 1 and 2 a long time ago, don't know anything about the comics, so don't really know if this would fit into the usual immersive sim style of Arkane, but I'm always willing to see what they produce.
From what we did see, the look of the shop front and the sound of the woman giving an alert felt very Half Life 2 (was it even the same voice actor as City-17's announcer lady?). It looks the part from what is most likely a pre-rendered cutscene, at least.

If it's how they pay the bills and avoid getting in trouble so be it. I'd rather they did a Dishonored or used MS money to get the thief license.
Still if it doesn't include the Pump Panel remix of Confusion... That's just cowardice.

I love the setting, even if we only get a glimpse of a single street... Fingers crossed they'll just be allowed to make a solid single player effort without the shoehorning live service nonsense into it.
Surely Insomniac's Spider-Man games have shown by now that there's a huge market for well crafted single player comic based games. Hopefully this won't be another Redfall style shit show with MS in control. (I can wish, anyway)

I'm sure it will be separate from anything going on in the MCU. So far, Marvel games haven't tried tying in with anything that happens in the films.
