Is there anything else to this other than dodging soldiers and dodging rats? Looks great on PS5 but am bouncing off hard early do to this gameplay loop.

Wouldn't bother carrying on if you're not enjoying the early gameplay loop. It's pretty much that up until the last chapter or so.

I'd stick with it a few more hours. Direct combat is still fairly minimal, but the tools and options increase in some unexpected ways.
I went from almost bouncing off the very generic stealth by numbers at the start. For me though as the game went on, it turned into one of my favourite games in recent memory.

I thought it was mostly brilliant. It's not stupidly long either so maybe worth persevering.

Not much more to it, but the upgrade near the end is worth it. I was gripped by the story. My lads are 6 and 3 so the thought of guiding this lad round from getting stabbed or eaten alive resonated with me.

Bought this dirt-cheap in the latest PSN sale. It's nice, but very gentle difficulty-wise,at least so far.
Story and setting seems interesting, so I'm looking forward to continuing the journey. Environments are breathtaking at times.
