A Cyberpunk 2077 modding guide for PC players.
All mods listed have been either updated to Patch 2.0 compatibility, or else personally tested by me and found to be working. Will update list when other outdated mods become compliant with 2.0, or when I see something new and cool turn up.
Note that all the mods I've listed here are not REDmod ones, as I've never used any of those. Many of those listed are available in both forms, though.
How To Install
Vortex
With Vortex Mod Manager from Nexus Mods, you can drag and drop mods directly into the manager, and disable or uninstall them at your pleasure.
When you first fire up Vortex, you'll need to add the necessary extension for Cyberpunk. (It'll require you to log in with your Nexus account.) Here's a handy guide:
One of the good things about Vortex is that under the profiles tab, you can clone a games' profile and allow that version to have its' own settings and saves. What I usually do for most games is keep the default profile unmodded, then use a copy of that to test out mod compatibility, and if something cocks up I can then start with a fresh clone of the default.
(If you do delete a modded profile, be sure to back up your saves from that one before deletion.)
Manual Installation
Not all mods are installed via Vortex or other mod manager, so please pay careful attention to the installation instructions of each individual mod.
Also be careful to read the Requirements tab of any mod, in case they require additional mods in order to function.
List of Mods, by category:
● Hard Requirements
Cyber Engine Tweaks
Required in order to make most other mods work. Scripting framework for modders and quality of life fixes.
RedScript
RedScript is a script compiler that can be integrated with the game and used to add/replace game scripts.

This mod allows other mods to easily add settings menus using only native UI, thus looking like the games settings menu. Not required for all mods, but essential to many others.
● Quality Of Life
During character creator, your character will move around a lot to the point where it can be an annoyance, for example, raising their hand to their mouth while you're customising their teeth or jaw. This disables most but not all of the idle animations.
So you won't have to put up with this kind of thing when trying to alter V's mouth or teeth:
C.V.O Version 1.5
CVO Overhauls Every Single purchasable Vehicle's individual handling.
From Horsepower to braking power, suspension setups, gearing and top speed changes, engine and tire behavior.
CVO is the first pack of its' kind, since every car is modified individually, it is fully compatible with any of your own tweaks and .ini setups.

Small mod that adds Controls for Headlights On/Off, Headlights Brightness and Vehicle Windows Opened/Closed.
Displays the actual names for vendors world map icons instead of generic type labels like "Ripperdoc".
Adds custom quickslots/hotkeys to the bottom of the screen for consumables, grenades, and cyberware abilities. Fully configurable with in-game menu. Supports controllers and keyboard/mouse.
Custom Map Markers
Experimental custom markers system which allows you to add your own map markers with chosen icon and custom text description.
Adds a hotkey to enable use of the time-skip when sleeping widget that was added in 1.6 wherever/whenever you like, and see the world fast-forward around you.
Reduces the hatching time of an iguana egg you can pick up from 90 days of in-game time to a choice of lower values. I put this under Quality Of Life because the way some of you speedrun through things, you might never actually see 90 days of in-game time pass, and miss out on the critter.
● Aesthetics
Increases the number of weather changes in the game and adds more weather conditions. Optional "Bladerunner" edition for minimal sun and a Port Talbot steelworks by night look.
Remove unnecessary blur on translucent objects. Enjoy refraction effects through clear, blur-free materials! Enhance the world around you with realistic visuals and brighter reflections.
More natural looking water, with several installation options to choose from.
● Default Preem Water (now called Pure) has increased normal texture intensity and lower scale for a crisp surface and more natural world scale.
● Tropical Preem Water has entirely different light scattering, from depth to sun reflectivity, and a tropical color. It also has reduced animation speed with lower refraction to let you see closer to the ocean floor.
● Canon Preem Water is the closest version to vanilla with a few significant changes; surface reflectivity has been reduced for less shiny reflections, the scatter depth reduced for a muddier look, wave size has been increased, animation slowed, and normal intensity reduced to give the waters surface a less appealing look.
Character and object textures upscaled to 4K resolutions, (optional 2K versions available), affects faces and clothing. Also upscaled Eyes & Eyebrows, Tattoos, Cyberware, Graffiti, Stickers, Posters, Clothing, Food & Drink. He also upped the intro video to 1440p.
Pretty much every named NPC is covered, and even the unnamed randoms on the street. Even Delamain, because you know, you need it.
NOTE:
Do NOT use the Johnny Silverhand one. His texture was updated by the official 2.0 patch to a new, improved version, and installation of the XilaMonstrr version will revert him to his pre 2.0 appearance.
Also, the Jackie texture causes his hair to take on a very noticable strange golden tinge, for some reason.
UPDATE:
XilaMonstrr released a 2.0 version for Johnny.

Restores the Samurai Logo for Johnny's Vest that was lost after Patch 1.2
Texture upscaler for most of the world textures in the game. Needs an absolute beast of a machine to run without tanking framerates, be warned.
Someone took what appears to be the cat model from Stray (uncredited, notably...) and a bunch of it's recolour mods and ported it to CP as a replacer for that abomination of a cat you can adopt.
8 different options to change the interior of the Rayfield Caliburn to something other than the appalling green default.
● Other
Adds a fully useable Metro System, with 19 explorable stations, third / first person view and much more
This mod adds the smart window similar to the one in the 2018 E3 Demo, with interactive features and stock market integration.*
A companion mod for E3 Smart Windows, "adds a fully useable stock market system that dynamically reacts to quests and player action. Also adds a news system that shows news based on the game's quests and player actions."
