It's like one of those Christmas wonderlands or trampoline parks that chancers set up. Except far more dangerous.

Well it is the front section, the tail and the two feet or skids by the look of things, none of the carbon fibre though.

The worst thing I saw was when they were epoxying the titanium ends to the carbon tube, just slopping it on in the back of a barn like your dad with a tin of ronseal. Any speck of dust contamination in that bond is a failure point, then they just rested it on top while it cured instead of clamping it down, like a few thousand tons of water pressure wouldn’t move it further and weaken the bond. You wouldn’t even glue two bits of pine without a clamp

That’s a glass fibre cover that went on the outside of the hull. The carbon part was 5 inches thick.

Goddammit, I’m always mixing up my fibres.

Any way you look at it, the cause is a lack of fibre.
