The PC Gaming Show returns on June 11 with a hot summer showcase of new game announcements and juicy updates. Hosted by the inimitable Sean "Day[9]" Plott and Frankie Ward, the show is set to be a blowout celebration of all things PC gaming, featuring 55 games, including 20 totally-new game announcements from studios around the world.

If there's a game you're eager to hear more about, there's a good chance you'll see it at the show. We're talking appearances from Baldur's Gate 3, Frostpunk 2, Dune: Awakening, a brand-new game from Klei, and—hang on, let me do the math—51 other games, a significant chunk of which will be completely new reveals.

That's a lot of games. Far too many for mere humans to handle. But not to worry, the latest tech trend is here to save us from our hubris: The PC Gaming Show 2023 will be using AI to ensure all of that news reaches your ears and eyeballs without a hitch.

This will absolutely, definitely, 100% not backfire, implode, go haywire, crash the stock market, knock the International Space Station out of orbit, or cause widespread crop failure. Pay no heed to rumours to the contrary.

This year's show will be going out pretty much everywhere that can hold a livestream at 1:00 PM PDT / 4:00 PM EDT / 9:00 PM BST / 10:00 PM CEST on Sunday, June 11. We'll be on the PC Gamer Twitch channel, YouTube, Twitch Gaming, Steam, and Bilibili.

You can even check here to see if any of your favourite streamers will be co-streaming the event.

I Am Future - That looks exactly like the trailer they showed at the last PC show.

Kill It With Fire 2 - Yeah, alright then.

Teardown: Creative Mode - Where you can build stuff, then Tear it Down.

Punch Club 2 - Something about training a boxer, with ghosts.

Well that Frostpunk 2 trailer showed basically nothing.

OO, Nivalis! The Cloudpunk spin-off. Been on my wishlist since they announced it. Why are characters suddenly full 3D while everything else is still voxel looking?

Jumplight Odyssey - Cartoony looking space combat, looks very much SB Yamato.

Road To Vostok - Atmospheric sounding FPS.

Ebenezer & The Invisible World - An absolutely mental looking Metroidvania sidescroller based on A Christmas Carol.

Warhaven - Again. Have we not had this one at every show this week.

D.O.R.F. - Old school Command & Conquer looking pixel art RTS.

SULFUR - Gorgeous looking (cel-shaded 2D ?) FPS

Saleblazers - What the hell was that

Eternights - Post-apocalyptic action and dating game anime thing.

Pax Dei - Social sandbox MMO, medieval and magic, with home building.

Stampede: Racing Royale - Mario Kart style racing for up to 60 players.

That's got "People screaming at each other over Discord" written all over it.

Path Of Exile 2 - Do they know there are other colours on the palette besides variations of brown?

Ferocious - FPS with dinosaurs, definitely not Turok at all.

Islands Of Insight - Shared world puzzle game.

Looks a bit like the Eylsian Fields DLC for Ass-Creed: Odyssey, but with crosswords to do?

Lords Of The Fallen - More of that one.

Mars Horizon 2: The Search For Life - About rocket launching.

Mariachi Legends - Pixel art side-scrolling battler.

Naheulbeuks' Dungeon Master - Legitimate goblin business.

Age Of Sigmar: Realms Of Ruin - Warhammer. Stormcast Eternals vs Orcs.

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector - That's a surprise, given how recently the last one came out.

Critter Cove - Looks a bit like if Oceanhorn had a baby with Stranded Sails.

Hidden Door - Interesting looking "Choose Your Own Adventure" type game that generates different responses and options to things you type based on predictive text, playable with friends.

Dread Pilots - R-Type style top-down space-merc, in a truck.

Miasma Chronicles - Post-apocalyptic magic and monsters.

Undead Inc. - Zombies.

Altered Alma: A Space Opera Metroidvania - Yeah, they actually put it in the name.

Invector: Rythym Galaxy - Multiplayer Audiosurf, basically.

Fabledom: Roadmap Update

Park Beyond - Amusement park builder.

Pathfinder: Gallowspire Survivors - Vampire Survivors style game playable with a companion.

Diesel Legacy - Highly stylised beat 'em up.

Parcel Corps - Paperboy and Crazy Taxi, together at last, with a story about criminal conspiracy regarding bike couriers.

30XX - Co-op Megaman roguelite, with a level editor

Chimera - Base builder with something to do with solar flares.

Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew - Commandos style game about voodoo cursed pirates. Looks really good, and seems slightly musical.

EXO Rally Championship - "A brutally realistic exoplanetary rally simulation"

Stormgate - Made by former Starcraft devs, a spiritual successor to... Starcraft. Stick with what you know, eh?

Fortune's Run - Very retro looking sci-fi shooter.

Hell Let Loose: Devotion To Duty Update - WWII shooter, still looks on about the same graphical level as COD2 from 20 years ago.

Mullet Madjack - Highly stylised shooter, a bit Serious Sam and 80's retro future thing, very colourful.

Vampire Survivors 1.5 Update DLC

Baldurs' Gate 3: Mashed Animation

Baldurs' Gate 3 - City Reveal Trailer

Ember Knights - Pixel art battler, single player or co-op.

Terratech Worlds - Looks like RC racing and battling in a No Mans' Sky setting.

Macabre - "Stealth extraction horror"

Earthless - Something about searching the galaxy for a new home after Earths' sun goes nova far earlier than expected.

Nova Roma - Roman era city builder. With aqueducts.

Last Train Home - Post WWII squad tactics

My Friendly Neighborhood - "The Muppets meets survival horror" from people who have watched that one particular Angel episode quite a few times.

Breathedge 2 - Like the first Breathedge, but with a 2 on the end of it.

Bloomtown - Pixel art RPG

F1 Manager 2023

SAND - Alternate history survival game with something to do with Austro-Hungary and crashed spaceships.

Dune: Awakening

Apparently they are Mexican.

"A lot of [Mexican] developers try to do something Mexican for their first game, but it’s not a great idea because people are super tired of that here," Hasson says. "So we avoided that for our first game, [9 Years of Shadows], but for our second, we wanted to go in and try and do the thing that no one seems to nail. It's a difficult choice because it's risky, but at the end of the day, the best Mexican-themed game is Guacamelee, and that game is Canadian. How can that be? You couldn't say that about Japanese games, so we felt it's time we tried to fix that."

Which is great! But I do hope they include a Spanish dub too.

Day9 always seems to be a likeable chap and I'm sure this Frankie is too (no idea who she is, besides having done this show before), but they need to ditch the skits from this show. I'll allow them the opening bit, as that was mildly amusing in a sort of Saturday morning kids' TV way, but after that they should have stopped thinking they were Devolver and just got on with the games.

It also just went on and on. Started watching it at about quarter past 11 and had to give up at around 12.30 as it seemed to still have ages left (I did skip ahead to the Stormgate bit).

There were lots of games though. Was surprised at how good the Christmas Carol Metroidvania looked. Sulfur looked interesting too. Jumplight Odyssey's spaceship management sim gameplay was one of those game ideas that I immediately wondered how it hadn't been done before. Road to Vostok looked like it might tide us over until STALKER 2 comes out. Islands of Insight looked really gorgeous and I do like a puzzle game (not sure about it being a shared world, but guess it could be more escape room like, which is fine as me and a friend recently had a good time with Escape Academy).

Was looking forward to seeing Stormgate, but it really looked a bit meh. I always welcome more RTS games, but they didn't show anything that told me I should be playing this rather than just going back to SC2. The Warhammer RTS looked more interesting (and that didn't look that great either).
