Needs to pass round the back a bit less as we are playing a pressing side. Need to be a bit more direct to play though it. Get Watkins on.
Amazing Rodri didn't injure himself there, looked like his leg bent a bit in the slide.

That was pretty good. Everyone bar one in an England shirt is playing pretty well and contributing. We look like a team.
Shaw excellent considering.
Kane is still bloody awful. He's neutered a lot of promising moves and barely jumps for headers.

I think it’s been a decent performance overall, much better than I expected. Mainoo hasn’t been able to have the impact of last time, but it’s only really Kane that’s stood out as being bad. Shaw has been very good.

Nothing surprising about that first half: of course Spain were going to keep more possession. England have looked solid in defence, though.
But there needs to be a change from Gareth soon as they can't chase the match like this.

I think we should be happy with that, we’ve got some good players but they aren’t good enough to play possession based football like Spain. We need to remain organised and hopefully one moment of quality will be enough
I’m sick of these experts though saying, “just be braver” like it’s some tactic that we can use to exploit Spain’s weaknesses
They are as bad as the dumb fuck fans saying “lucky” that we got there. They literally know fuck all about sport and just prove it time and time again saying rubbish like that
Maybe in training the next coach should focus all his sessions to work on luck and bravery, we’ll win the World Cup for sure!
