Has anybody else been following this oddball conspiracy fest? The TLDR version of it all is they put out some promo video a year or so back and everyone creamed themselves with preorders. There have been odd releases of video footage since then but no actual hands on gameplay demos. The game is due for a release fairly soon and then it all seems to have gone Pete tong. The forthcoming footage release was curbed with no explanation which I think is the actual genesis of the vapour ware claims. This was followed up with a brief statement saying somebody actually trademarked our game name and hit us with a strike which caused the games steam page to be taken down. Which only added fuel to the vapour ware fire. Then the footage was release but actually looks like a full on downgrade I comparison to the footage first dropped I'll whack some links up later but just wondered if anybody else has followed it and what their thoughts are ... I've been following it too, that 'gameplay' reveal was definitely something they knocked up super quickly. From the copying of CoD cutscenes, to the copying of Fortnite's character running animation it just screams that they made a vertical slice and that was without comment assumed to be proper gameplay by many people. They probably weren't expecting the response it received and thought they capitalise on it for investment for their real business of making productivity apps. The fact that it was originally supposed to be out in April this year and had never had any proper gameplay revealed or something as simple as a fucking beta test just made it more ridiculous.
They'll release something because they have to now and it'll be as shitty as the shit that regularly gets released on Steam. That 10 minute gameplay reveal they released tells you what pile of shit they'll be releasing too.
Also it's definitely not a downgrade because a game has to actually existed for it to be considered a downgrade. The ridiculous amount of unreal store assets should tell all you need to know.

Yep, calling it that the 10 minute "gameplay" they showed this month is actually the entire fruit of their labours that they knocked up in a couple of weeks. It's honestly hilarious m

Yeah it's definitely looking that way more and more. What I can't unsee now that you've pointed it out is the run animation.
Don't know how I missed that before
