Not sure I'm supposed to talk about the closed beta (oooooh) but played a couple of matches and it seems decent. As always I immediately got confused by Ultimate Team (it seems to be akin to a very complex JRPG, only with real time combat) , but it feels nice to play.
I'll probably get it after Chrimbo when it inevitably drops to £30.

I forgot about that. Sadly I only have gamepass on pc, which will of course be the peasant version of Fifa. PS5 or bust for me.

Played a bit of the beta today, seems smoother than 21 and the new animations are a real improvement.
Create a club in career mode looks fun and allows a bit more customisation than I expected. Should fill that master league shaped hole while PES does whatever it’s doing now.
Objectives in the pro mode are a welcome addition and starting as a sub it sims to when you get brought on so no wasted time.
Aside from that not a massive change but solid as usual.

With all the transfer deals done this window, I'm actually up for getting it this year. PES this year looks horrible and this might be the last year they do a "proper" FIFA.

Posted elsewhere (didn’t see this thread) but I really enjoyed the closed beta in career mode. Game felt fun to play for 1st time in a long time. Let’s hope they don’t fuck it up appeasing the very loud (at least in the beta forum) complainers
