Bit of a cheat as it is a cover and maybe a bit harsh given it looks like a Secondary School performance but this is pretty grim. Like 3 different songs in one. Wow, wow wow wooww. That drummer is something else, he just does what he wants when he wants. I thought at first that he stopped drumming for effect for when he sings near the end, but now I'm wondering if it's because he couldn't sing and drum at the same time. |

Yeah but, you really have to hear it in the context of, like, the whole flow of the album, man.
But seriously, 100 Gecs whole schtick is those quite short, rough electro and heavy on the vocoder little ditties. I don’t like every track they do, but I like their approach. And Doritos and Fritos is still an absolute banger.

You know, if I wanted to showcase what an AI can do with completely composing their own song with an AI generated model singing the song no less, I'd maybe want to make sure that the song itself isn't shite, sung badly and the model doesn't have a stretchy face and sung with no emotion on it. Maybe it's just me.

So, Taylor Swift turned out to actually be a lot better than I expected. Not always my kind of thing, but I can see why she's popular and I wouldn't immediately switch it off.
Except Love Story, which is just awful awful awful. I hate that song so much. It just drones on with no actual tune or structure, and the lyrics seem to have been written by a 10 year old. I don't get it and it makes me want to smash whatever device it's playing on.

As a rock & metal fan it sometimes feels there's a weird expectation I should like them, but they're fucking abysmal.

C'mon though drh, the early stuff has some decent bar room boogie shizz amongst it. Back in black has a couple of decent tunes too.
