I would honestly read the wiki articles plot synopsis and watch something else. It’s really sad but, really, they only got like three decent seasons* out of that whole blob and everything else kind of sucked varying amounts of ass.

I didn’t watch the punisher. I assumed it would be Karen heavy and by then I’d had enough of the whole thing to start a new strand.
My memory is hazy of S3 but I do remember that I didn’t really like it and it was twice as long as it really had story for, so they had every dicking around for ages with tedious sub plots.

I quite enjoyed jessica Jones season 1, couldn’t get through the first episode of season 2.
I also gave up on luke cage season 1 halfway through. Never bothered with iron fist.
Both punishers were alright.
DD3 was my favourite but I think that’s because I was a daredevil (and Spider-Man) comic geek when I was young and bullseye was my favourite baddie

I gave up on DD after the defenders but I recently went back and watched S3 for the first time and it is possibly the best season of any marvel series.
As usual there are a couple more episodes than it needs but it is really good. S2 was awful after about 4 episodes.

DD3 feels like a direct reaction to basically every criticism that was made of DD2
Very happy that the character is being revived

The first 4 episodes of S2 I remember as being good but they were all the Punisher episodes, after that the season was terrible.

Of the series I've watched so far I'd rank them...
DD-1 (excellent throughout)
JJ-1 (excellent but goes on a bit)
LC-1 (first half excellent, falls apart in second half)
DD-2 (some really excellent stuff but also really boring stuff)
Defenders (pretty good but also a bit plodding and doesn't really go anywhere)
IF-1 (mostly boring)

I don't think I made it through a single episode of Luke Cage. I get that the character's roots are in blaxploitation, but the style they tried to mimic for the show just felt a bit shit.
I should probably give it another chance considering I managed to sit through all of Iron Fist, which was just plain bad.

Luke Cage one absolutely dies on its arse when Mahershala Ali stops being in it. He proper elevated the whole thing.
Punisher 1 is great. Jessica Jones 2 really isn't. They give too much time to her annoying mate. Daredevil 3 saves it. Didn't finish Punisher 2.

I know I constantly complain about the homogenisation and commoditisation of content but a bit of Disneyfication could probably deal with my main complaint; the oppressive, consistent ‘tone’.
Every fucking series was unrelentingly bleak before finally delivering a ‘we won, but at what cost?’ ending. Hopefully Disney will cheer them up a bit.

I broadly took the series as being more about someone who hated what he was and couldn’t escape it no matter what he tried than “fuck yeah guns!” He certainly never seemed happy about what he was doing to me. Although that might be my liberal biases showing through. He wasn’t a Dredd or Robocop (or previous interpretations of Punisher) in that regard I don’t think |

Let's just clarify it so it's easy to understand why anyone interested should watch S3.
S2 had ninjas and a shite Elektra. S3 has neither.
S3 brings it back round to S1 with Kingpin as the antagonist so its just more of the dynamic you like from S1. It might be an episode or 2 too long, but I think its my favourite season overall.

In other news, apparently the full trailer for Thor: Love & Thunder is going to be released tomorrow (possibly in the middle of the night as I think it's premiering during some sporting event or the other). Feels like the first trailer only came out five minutes ago. I imagine this one will show off more of Natalie Portman and Christian Bale.
