Ben Kingsley's 'scouse' accent was appalling, especially for a Manc.

Moon Knight looks great. His accent sounds fine, but I'm not really bothered about shit like that. Apart from Tom Hardy as Bane. That's the worst thing I've ever heard in my life, and it won't be as bad as that. Nothing will. I quite enjoy that Dark Knight Rises. “What a lovely, lovely voice.”

You know, I always assumed Oscar Isaac was British... just because I thought everyone in Star Wars was British. I think it was. See also Helen Baxendale in Friends. They told her to Manc it up apparently. Every British actor in friends had a terrible British accent for some reason. If you want some fun accents, Superman 2 is good. I'm fairly sure all the 'french' people in Paris were airlifted in from Allo Allo. I wonder how that went down in France. Maybe back then no-one cared about foreign markets.

Nothing beats Don Cheadle in Ocean's 11. Dick van Dyke probably did an air punch and screamed YES! FUCK YOU!

I'm still not having it. And the main premise of that article is stupid. His voice is supposed to be weak, matching the main personality we see. It's better than Cumberbatch's American Dr strange accent.

It does sound a bit weird, but I wonder if that's just because I'm watching it entirely to listen to his accent. It doesn't match him.
The trailer itself looks a lot more interesting than the last couple, which looked entirely pointless as they just seemed like another generic super hero. This looks a bit more interesting.

If you want a wonky accent, check out safe on netflix. Michael C Hall (aka Dexter) is frothing some form of mixed posh ameringlish.

I don't get why they couldn't have just made him an American émigré. Maybe Michael wanted to do the accent or maybe I gave up before I found out something about his backstory which would have prevented it. All the Harlen Coben stuff is verging on unintentional self-parody for various reasons - it definitely works better as weird comedy than actual thriller.

My favourite accent is when Ray Winstone attempts American or Russian.

It is funny how they ran out of English people as they were all playing Americans

My gf was watching Safe and two things kept happening:
"Who's that? Why do I know him?"
That's Dexter. From Dexter.
"No but Dexter isn't English. This man isn't either"
And..
"Where's that?"
That's northern quarter.
"Where's that?"
Looks like Hale
"I don't think he's actually English"
No, that's because he's Dexter.

The worst accent I’ve ever heard was the manc accent of that leading woman actor in white lines. It went through Scouse, Lancashire, northern manc, Yorkshire and even took in a bit of the midlands. I couldn’t get through the first episode due to that and then Laurence fox turned up in his last ever acting gig....
