Maybe they could just give superheroes a rest for a bit and make movies with other properties that they surely own. Give audiences enough time to miss them then BAM come back with a Turner D. Century vehicle.

I'm still semi-convinced there's going to be a multiversal "League of Wolverines" joke with Keen, Daniel Radcliffe, Taron Edgerton, and Dougray Scott all appearing as different variants of Wolverine. Wouldn't that just be repeating the joke from The Flash movie? I think they need to stop doing the back up versions of characters and go back to more of the original/primary versions or just go to good other characters. It’s fine having some of them around but it does feel like the good ones have left. Backup Captain America, Hawkeye jr, shit Hulk, Black Panther (understandable but replacement is rubbish), Florence Pugh’s character (who seems to have not been involved for years now), Iron Heart, whatever happened to vision etc. If they’re going to use some new characters why not make more of Shang Chi, Moon Knight, America Chavez etc. They’ve all had decent appearances then been abandoned. I really hope Deadpool kills the multiverse. True, but Dafne Keen's Wolverine was cool. And I quite like Hawkeye Jr and Florence Pugh's character and She Hulk. The problem is that they stuck Hawkeye, Hawkeye Jr and Black Widow Jr (Red Widow?) in the TV show, when they should have made it a movie. (She Hulk was great, but definitely wouldn't work as part of the main movie franchise) I have some sympathy for killing the multiverse, but then again none of those Jr characters are actually multiversal.

Presumably we get whatever the Avengers Jrs team up is going to be then move forward without most of them and let Fantastic Four and X-Men take the lead. Until the next Spiderman reboot anyway.

According to the footage from Captain America that was screened at CinemaCon last week (or whenever it was), part of the plot of that film involves Sam being asked to create a new team of Avengers. So I think they'll play a fairly decent part for a while yet, although I agree that Young Avengers will also be a thing.
I did wonder (although The Marvels has changed my mind a little bit) if the next "saga" would be all about mutants, eventually leading to an Avengers vs X-Men movie.

Xmen97 continues to be great and also surprisingly brutal. Wish they’d just drop the last 3 episodes now

All I will say is that Lenore Zann, who plays Rogue, is an absolutely phenomenal voice actor.

At very start of the series I didn’t think she felt like old school Rogue but she’s really taken off as its gone on.

Another solid episode this week Roberto going full Sunspot. Nightcrawler and Wolverine teaming up. The Summers roadtrip (will Cable finally use his powers this series?). And then Magneto’s response, surely he just killed millions by doing that.
I don’t know how it could possibly top that sequence on Genosha but something big is coming.

What a great episode. Yeah we’ve still got two left - one would imagine shit is about to get even more real. ”I got six reasons right here!” What a brilliant line.

Just watched Endgame, in 2 parts. It's a long fucking film. Enjoyable. Didn't really know what was going on. Maybe I should watch them in order... ✌️

It's long, but it doesn't feel that long. I assume you watched Infinity War first, or you'd have no idea. Not sure how many of the others would actually be essential to understanding what's going on, but they definitely add more depth and investment in the characters.

I've picked up X-Men '97 again after a bit of a false start with the first episode, which just didn't click with me. Episode 2 is a bit more like it, then episode 3 properly hooked me. Excellent stuff!
Film grain on a cartoon, though... Ugh.

If the eventual live action rebirth of the xmen is half as good as this, we’re in for a treat. Genuinely no idea how this is going to resolve in an single episode, but then as you say they cram a lot in 30 mins!

I think they've confirmed two more seasons so I imagine the ramifications of, ahem, certain events won't be felt until season two.

Bloody hell, what an episode. Really didn't think they'd nail the quality this well, such a good show.

But can Galactus throw a kettle over a pub? Hmm...
Ralph Ineson seems to be in everything at the moment, which is fine with me.

I can't think of any role that wouldn't be improved with a bit of deep Yorkshire. He should be the next Bond.

Galactus already? Slightly disappointed as I was hoping they might save him for a big event film.
Here’s hoping he doesn’t just voice a kind of nanomachine mist..

My pet theory is that the FF and Doom escape their world as it's destroyed by Galactus and end up in "our" universe, but Galactus somehow follows them.
So the threat to the main MCU Earth is postponed for a big event film.

Happy if it's not a one and done as they've done too much.
Maybe he'll eat Kang.

Geez, I keep forgetting that Kang is a thing. Still not having watched Quantumania is probably the reason.
