Olivia Colman is good as well but even with her character she does something really fucking dumb this week. Being completely unaware about Rhodey. I could believe an AI wrote the script as well as doing the titles.

Yes I think this is very much a holdover from the previous guy running Disney, who just ordered they make a shit-ton of content so no one ever cancels their sub. On the face of it not a terrible idea, it was like they were alternating between Marvel and Star Wars shows for years, but each Marvel show gets less interesting and compelling than the last. Endgame was the end of the MCU, everything since then has been the air escaping the balloon. I think between the Kang actor problem and the massive strike going on, Marvel may be fucked. I doubt any actors will be doing publicity for The Marvels, the producer cabal give no fucks about equitable pay and the strike will go on for ages I think. Bob Igor made a massive cunt of himself and a lot of creatives would be dirty on working for Disney in future, so quality may drop further,

I think there’s a strong case to be made for Secret Invasion being the worst MCU streaming show.
There are ones I was meh on where I didn’t like parts of their story or presentation but I think this is the first one where I just don’t care whats happening. There’s no “I wonder where this is going”, its a bit of a chore.

The closest I've come to directly paying for D+ was redeeming some clubcard vouchers for a couple of 3 month codes. Got a free year with a Samsung tablet, free 6 months with my GF's mobile plan IIRC (which I haven't even redeemed yet), then a free year with Lloyds Bank benefits. Even if you don't watch Marvel stuff it seems to be one of the best subs around at the moment.

Jesus, what a bunch of mopey buggers you are. Olivia Coleman quotes Eddie Izzard in this episode, what more do you want out of life?

I think there’s a strong case to be made for Secret Invasion being the worst MCU streaming show. I couldnt be arsed watching Hawkeye but its certainly the worst one Ive seen by some distance. It has two problems, really: - The premise is stupid - You could get over the premise being stupid if everything else didnt absolutely suck

Hawkeye is fun, but it should have been an xmas movie.

Yeah, Hawkeye was good. Not incredible, but an enjoyable easy watch that worked nicely in the lead-up to Christmas.

Hawkeye is fun, but it should have been an xmas movie. I think with the exception of WandaVision, She-Hulk, and maybe Loki and Moon Knight, all of them would be improved by being movies. Even the ones I really enjoyed, like Hawkeye. Like you say, if Hawkeye had been some kind of 90-minute Xmas movie straight to D+ I think it would be one of my favourite things they've ever done.

Hawkeye is solidly top tier for me. Like everyone else says, it would have been a terrific Christmas film. If you enjoyed Antman 2 being a caper then Hawkeye will do something for you.
Thinking about Secret Invasion I think one of my issues with Secret Invasion is that it can’t seem to settle on its stakes. Cap2 and F&WS both seemed did the espionage thing but it felt like things mattered and had consequences. Even if things were on a much smaller scale in Falcon they felt weightier. Better clearly more expensive with better directed action helps there.
This feels about right for where the mainline Marvel titles are overall right now

I’m enjoying it still. Interested to see how it ends next week. Forgot Moon Knight was a thing. That’s the only show I couldn’t stomach completing, so that’s the worst by a mile IMO. Shame cause I love Oscar Issac too.

I think I've realised the problem I'm having with it. It's because I assumed it was going to be something it's not. Secret Invasion is basically a variation on "only this one secret agent can stop the madman's plot to destroy the world". I kind of thought the whole shapeshifting aspect would have some paranoid conspiracy, who-do-you-trust, bodysnatcher vibe, but the show hasn't really done anything like that at all.
There's been no equivalent of The Thing's blood test scene, for example, and I kinda just assumed the whole show was going to be a version of that. Fury as the crazy guy running down the street screaming "You're next!"
But as a slow-burn and relatively conventional spin on a James Bond story set within the MCU, it's actually pretty good.

The Skrull's infiltration could probably be stopped with diabetic prick tests, they're pretty awful at not revealing themselves when they're hurt.

I hated it. But I also hated Andor, which this forum loved, so I’m the outlier.

I thought the first episode of Andor was really strong, then it immediately went to boring shit. There was nothing good about Moon Knight though.

Moon Knight is probably in my bottom tier alongside Secret Invasion and Loki Top tier; Wandavision, F&WS and Hawkeye Mid; She-Hulk and Ms Marvel Maybe. I keep shifting on Ms Marvel it has top tier elements but fumbles things by having a rubbish baddie. Although, having a rubbish baddie is a consistent theme across them all. US Agent is probably the best baddie for me. Hawkeye’s are fun but basically Home Alone cannonfodder.

I liked some of Moon Knight, if anything it wasn’t quite bold enough.
But as with most of the MCU shows, it would have been better as a 2 hour film.

Andor defo didn't go to boring shit. The prison episodes alone were worth the admission.

I liked Andy Serkis in it, but I don’t think I liked those episodes so much as I liked his performance. It falls off once he’s gone from the story too.
I think I’ve mentioned before that it feels like a BBC production, and I don’t say that as a compliment.

I've not seen Andor yet - I was working away a lot when it was on last year and haven't swung back round to it. So no spoilers ;-)
My favourite MCU shows have been (in no particular order) Ms Marvel, She-Hulk, and WandaVision.
Hawkeye, Moon Knight, and Loki were also very good.
F&WS and Secret Invasion are a bit meh.
What If was up and down every episode.
Am I forgetting anything?

I liked Moon Knight partly because it felt like something I could watch on its own. It didn't feel like it was just there to set something else up, which is a thing I don't particularly like about a lot of MCU stuff.

New Marvels trailer. This looks a lot more fun than Antman 3 did.

Secret Invasion. It’s all a bit Scooby Doo in the weekly Old Man Withers reveal and Gravik is about as threatening as weak tea. .
*grumble*
This could’ve been great, but I think it played its hand too soon. Early BSG kept you guessing about who could be Cylon (before it lost its way), but SI is too keen to show who’s alien and loses all sense of tension and the potential paranoia.
One more episode to go and never watching it again.
Moon Knight was excellent!

I think the main problem is they clearly don't want to make the Skrulls too evil and it's causing massive tonal shifts (and idiotic decisions)
