Not the shit sitcom from the 80s
My current ADHD hyper fixation is bread making so gimme recipes. I’m getting some sourdough starter on the go, I’ve nailed basic artisanal white loaves, but gimme more stuff to aggressively make before I get bored of things a week later.

I will give that a try Also here’s the artisanal no knead loaf I’ve made a few times and has turned out amazing every time. US units because I can’t be fucked with doing the conversions. 3 cups bread flour, 1/2 tsp instant yeast (or activated yeast equivalent), 2tsp coarse salt. Mix. Add whatever herbs and seasonings you want, I don’t care. Add 1 1/2 cups warm water. Mix until you’ve got a solid but scrappy dough. Cover, let rise for 12 hours. Go watch a season of House or something while you wait. Heat oven to 450, put an uncovered dutch oven in there for 30 minutes. While that’s going on, uncover the dough, shape into a ball with floured hands and let rest while the dutch oven heats. After 30, put dough in dutch oven, cover, back in the regular oven for 30. Then uncover and back in for 12-15 until nice and golden brown. Remove, turn out loaf, cool, cut off a slice and have a fucking ploughmans.

For those with fancy steam convection ovens, these often have bread baking programs (steam first, convection after, like in bakeries I believe). I stopped using the dutch oven method.

Problem is in the UK now if you make your own bread it costs £40 per loaf.

I lazily just used recipes from bbc food/paul hollywood, for, bread, pitta(worked well) and naan (not quite there) , but need to try again using the pizza oven for better(higher) temps.
If you try wholemeal shit, stick to 50/50ish. I went full wholemeal and it barely rose. Should have tried to finesse it a bit, but couldn't be arsed.
I miss making bread and the kneading, but the proving etc doesn't fit well with the lad's fitba on a Saturday. Should try again during the xmas holidays. It was always much nicer than shop bought.

There's a lot of waiting about with bread eh? With more time, definitely something I could get on board with.

My step mum makes one with sun dried tomatoes, parmesan and shallots which is pretty godlike. I assume the recipe is bread plus sun dried tomatoes, parmesan and shallots.
