Need to save some money next year as I’m looking to get on the housing market. Seems a good way to save and play. Only thing I played on it so far is Stray, which I rather liked. |

Stray and FFVII Remake (plus DLC) were my main Premium plays so far, a lot of others I have in disc so just being lazy installing them.

I downloaded demons souls and did the tutorial bit.
Then I downloaded Death Stranding and started playing that. Proper weird game. I think I’ll stick with it but think I might get a bored after a while.

Returnal - amazing but bosses are hard and I always struggle with the mindset you need for roguelikes
God of War 1 and 2 - both still good games. Streaming not as bad as I thought it might me

I've done a few levels of Demon Souls and it's decent, but I can't do the bosses, so it might be stopping there.
I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed the two Marvel games - GotG and the Avengers - because I usually wouldn't have tried something like that, but it was great fun playing through all the storylines.
PS4, but Ghost Recon Wildlands has been an excellent, long running multiplayer solider silliness platform for PvE lols with some mates.
I've also played RDR streamed and I have a ton of other stuff downloaded that I'll probably get around to playing after Ragnarok - Edith Finch, Chorvs, Returnal, Death Stranding, all sorts.
Been worth the 18 quid it cost me so far. 😁

Demon's souls. Got past the first world. Brutally tough.
Death Stranding. Hated it and binned forever.
Ghost of Tsushima. Pretty much done the first island. Quite enjoyable. Looks great and combat feels fantastic. Possibly a bit easy as I think I'm nearly maxed out on the first island. Might concentrate just on the main story from now on.
Returnal. Might be the best game I've played in a decade. Love it but find I've to be in the right mood to begin more runs. Easily the best sound in any game ever.

Yeah the sound is incredible. I ahve yet to play hunt showdown but the sound in that is supposed to be of a similar level.

This might sound silly but anyone struggling with Demon’s Souls need not worry
It is incredibly easy once you know what you’re doing. The challenge is to accumulate as much knowledge as possible as strategise effectively rather than a test of skill and reflexes

Returnal single-handedly made me a believer in Sony’s Tempest 3D gimmick. Shame no other developer has matched those heights since.

The only thing that’s stopping me pressing on with Demon’s is the boss runs. I’ve completed the original 3 or 4 times so just not sure I can be arsed. I’ll probably play until I get frustrated and can it.
I still can’t figure out if I like death stranding or not. There is something that is pulling back to it but I’m not sure I could say I’m actually enjoying it.
Might try returnal though.

Like I've said in my own comment I'm really tempted to stack this and I have no interest in the top tier for the classic games or game trials really. Some suggestions that upgrading from the standard sub for the full 3,4,5,6 years and above is the cheapest way to do it as the upgrade is apparently capped but it's a good saving without.

I took a look at that Dreams free game tonight. Annoyed the shit out of me while this condescending voice spend 20 minutes explaining what a menu was before letting me access the menu. Was getting ready to delete it when I tried “Pig Detective and the Beast of Boffington” which is recommended, though if it hasn’t saved my progress that will be a delete-worthy final offence.

Dreams is a fiddly nightmare. I enjoyed using it with the Moves for 3D rendering back when it came out, but it became unbearably frustrating and I binned it off.

I’m also playing Death’s Door, which is great so far, though I’m stuck at a particularly brutal boss fight. It lifts a lot from souls games, and I could potentially grind to make the fight slightly easier.

Had a long session on Pig Detective tonight. It’s crazy how good it is and I think the stats were less than 6000 people have ever played it. I think this one is the fourth in a series but the earlier ones were very short, this is more like a full adventure game in length so far.

Grandia now on Plus, anyone recommend playing it? I downloaded it and only started the first 10 minutes but not sure I'll commit to an RPG unless it's fairly engaging.

Everywhere I go its constantly showing me premium stuff and trying to get me to upgrade.
