I don't even really care if it runs like shit, I'm happy the game exists at all given the circumstances its made in. It could be absolute wank and I won't regret the preorder.

My buttocks are clenched. The review embargo stuff has a whiff of shenanigans, but it's also GSC, so it could just be standard odd behaviour. As ever, wait for the reviews. Game ain't going nowhere. I'm hoping it's more of avoid spoiling the story/reveals kinda of deal. The deluge of bullshit videos that have already hit my YouTube recommended list is already high. 2 days from now it's going to be 10 thing you need to do before starting. Get geared early, all hidden loot locations. ... Cunts. Go out a fucking explore |

Those "8 things I wish I knew before starting" videos crack me up.
They're always complete filler with obvious shit like "you don't need to wait until you've finished off a clip, you can reload at any point by pressing the handy reload button!"
Then maybe one decent tip hidden in the middle.

Do you think? There's little to no diversity in the Metro games. apart from two of the cast being of Mongolian descent i believe, and I've never heard a peep from anyone about that.

Nah, I don't see any of that nonsense happening apart from fringe people looking to create "engagement". I hope it's actually good as most of the talent at the old GSC left to form 4A who make the Metro series. Also with all that's happened to them too it would be a great achievement.

Will be flying over new zealand tonight, so can play it early 
I do expect review bombing of the game from some review sites as some people from these sites are tankies. I watched the shill up podcast and the studio technical director person said the game has lot of Ukrainian music and art, so for tankies thats horrible for them and will need to rub one off over Russia today and lick some putin speeches over themselves

I wouldn't try it tbh
the link says top right for gamer icon but the xbox app has gamer tag on the left now

Pretty sure I just went into the PC's regional settings and changed to NZ there when I did it, but this was yonks ago. It definitely worked FWIW, but that's about as much help as I can offer.
There should be guides out there for doing it with blops6, so just do whatever they suggest minus the Activision specific bits.
