Liking the narration during gameplay but also hoping you can switch it off if you just want the atmosphere
Either way I'm looking guard to playing this over the weekend.

That looks weird. The world and background stuff looks great, and then the main character looks awful.
I thought the gameplay was going to be more like Brothers, but it looks more like a 3d Another World, with the insta-fail and repetition that that implies.

It's good. Got a discount so down to £20 which having played a bit of it is a good price IMO.
It's beautiful at times but the boys animations are a bit off now and then.

plumped for it after a few sales - pretty game and i love the folklore element...reminds me of little nightmares somewhat but also heart of darkness on ps1, which is probably the another world vibe
the instadeath scenarios are there but easily overcome and the checkpoints are generous
happy to have spent 20-ish but, if it were 10-15, it'd be a no-brainer if you fancied it
makes quite a nice companion piece to into the forest as well
