Also don't like the 'retreat' missions since I'm always the one who retreats. I keep wanting to pipe up to say I've hit 50 but I'm skirting 48-49 for a week now...
I've been playing around with a sera control deck which has been quite fun to play (although I think I'm missing a couple of key cards to make it much further up the ladder). Also I only recently realised that whoever is winning flips a card first so that has made me a little bit more competitive. Whoops.
What's this high evolutionary all about - worth holding on to my 8000 tokens? I've just been sitting on them for the most part.

Evolved Wasp [0/1]: On Reveal: Afflict 2 random enemy cards here with -1 Power.
Evolved Misty Knight [1/2]: When you end a turn with unspent Energy, give another friendly card +1 Power.
Evolved Shocker [2/3]: On Reveal: Give the leftmost card in your hand -1 Cost.
Evolved Cyclops [3/4]: When you end a turn with unspent Energy, afflict 2 random enemies here with -1 Power.
Evolved The Thing [4/6]: On Reveal: Afflict a random enemy card here with -1 Power. Repeat this twice more.
Evolved Abomination [5/9]: Costs 1 less for each enemy card in play that’s afflicted with negative Power.
Evolved Hulk [6/12]: Ongoing: +2 Power for each turn you ended with unspent Energy.

I wonder if they'll expand it so that some of the cards the spawn ads will have hidden abilities (Mr sinister, squirrel girl, brood etc)

Re: retreat missions, I really recommend losing your inhibitions and try snapping at start of turn 1. or just generally in some sessions to change it up.
it suprised me how many early retreats i see as soon someone starts thinking their card draw or locations aren't favourable.
and you can always retreat yourself for 2 cubes if it looks bad.
i don't do it all the time but over a run of a few games you come out with gains more often than not.

There was an interview with one of the Devs, it might have been Brode and they said, just snap turn 1. So many games you only win 2 cubes when you could've got 4 or the same 2 from a retreat is quite high when looking at the tracking stats they see.
I've started snapping loads because I couldn't give a shit about rank. If I plan a snap I usually lose or they retreat so fuck it, all in

Which i can admit having rinsed a ton of cubes with it last season. It was OP. If you want a good off-meta Shuri deck and have Sauron, this one 'Shuri still has some tricks up her sleeve' is very effective, i gained 10 ranks with it this week. Made it to 60+ rank! I picked up Zabu in the shop which made the difference for a final push for cubes. And then Knull dropped for me so quite a productive morning if you exclude getting any actual work done.

I was short 500 gold or so for the Throg bundle so bought the Earth day bundle as it comes with gold for the same price I was going to get just gold for, but with cards and boosters.
I have 4500 credits left but am now season three complete again.
I also hit the token cap, so I'll have to buy a card. Out of pool four, any suggestions for a card to pick up? Knull and Darkhawk are fairly effective.

Finally got Spooderman in a reserve so just Valkyrie left. Soooo close. Have over 9k tokens now, nearly bought Modok last night since I'd still have enough for High Ev next season. Knowing that the limit is 10k I'm definitely buying something in P4 so I dont start losing out on tokens. Also, something Ive had for a while but only just consciously become aware is my credits must have fucked up at some point. The denominations mean I should always bottom out at 0 but I have a random 5 I can never get rid of |

I think that's my next purchase. I just bought Jeff for no reason other than I've never had a newly released Series 5 before. Not a must have for any deck but he does a pleasing splooshy animation which is also reason enough. |

Yeah stegron does look good. Got about 13000 credits burning a hole. HE my may purchase just wondering if I should jump on a pool 5 card that will get lowered at some point.

He looks good, but I saw a supposed date of 2nd May for Hit Monkey to go to Pool 5, and then I have a few weeks to get enough tokens to afford High Evolutionary. I'm on 9400 at the moment, so no point getting any bundles.
